●Chapter 61●

I woke up to someone playing with my hair.

I groaned and swatted the person's hand away.

The person then started to chuckle. And I recognized the voice. It was Xavier!

"Xavy!" I screamed happily and lunged at him for a hug.

"Woah. Did you miss me that much?" Xavier said while smiling.

I nodded. Then I looked around noticing that Joseph wasn't here with us.

"Where's Joseph?" I asked looking at Xavier.

He took a hold of my wrist and guided me off of the bed.

He started to walk towards my opened door and walked down the hall and down the stairs and turned into the kitchen.

That's when I was hit with the most amazing smell of lunch.

"Pizza!" I screamed and ran to Joseph and hugged him.

They just laughed and I let go of Joseph and sat by the island on a chair.

Joseph lifted the pan with mittens and placed it on the island.

"I can't believe you can cook," I said smiling.

Joseph smiled. "Yeah, well, I am the human part of Xavier so I need like real food to eat."

"Wait. You're human?" I was confused.

"Yeah, I am. I'm the human part of Xavier with powers while Xavier has the werewolf side," he said looking at me.

"So it's like a win win for you guys," I said looking from Xavier who had just joined me by the island to Joseph from across the other side of the island.

"Well, that's one way to put it," Xavier said.

I nodded. "So are you going to stay here or go back to Volteiro?" I asked Xavier.

"Sadly, I can't. I have unfinished business to take care of. But look on the bright side, you'll have Joseph here with you the whole time," Xavier said kissing my cheek.

I smiled and said, "Though, I'll still miss you, Joseph will be here."

"Xavier, I know that you want to spend quality time with your princess but Belle, darling, the pizza's getting cold and I'd like for you to eat," Joseph said.

"You're so jealous," Xavier said smirking.

"No, I'm not," Joseph retorted folding his arms.

"Yes, you are," Xavier said smirking even more.

"No, I'm not," Joseph said rolling his eyes.

"Yes, you-" Xavier started to begin but I interrupted and said, "Ladies, ladies, you're both pretty. Can we have lunch now?"

They groaned and I took up a slice and ate. Joseph took a slice too and ate. But I noticed Xavier didn't take up any.

"Why aren't you eating?" I turned to Xavier with my mouth stuffed.

"You're so cute, you know that?" Xavier said poking my face.

"Hey, stop that," I said giggling. "Why aren't you eating?"

"Because I don't feel like eating," he said.

"Why?" I questioned after taking a bite of my slice of pizza.

"Because human food doesn't really have any nutritional values to us supernaturals. Yes, we can eat it but it's for only the taste," he said poking my cheek again.
