His lips were drawn up into a smirk and I quickly averted my attention to the now darkening sky.

"So do you just come here regularly or is this the first time?" I asked trying to make small talk.

"Let's just say, I come here regularly," he said.

I nodded.

"I've never seen your face around here before," he said.

Oh sh!t.

What should I tell him?

"Um I'm from around here actually. I live like further that side," I said pointing to the other side of the lake.

"Huh. I see. So you live with uh monkeys," he said.

I gritted my teeth.

"Actually it's really nice over there. Unlike here," I said.

"What's wrong with this side?" he asked.

"You're probably starving right about now. You barely even have fruits over this side. While on the other side, there's bananas and lots of them," I snapped.

"Question. Are you somehow related to Curious George?" he said still smirking.

"Question. Are you somehow related to the Annoying King of the A$$holes?" I said smirking now and turned to look at him.

He chuckled lightly.

He was just sticking to that one spot. Why isn't he moving?

Wait. Belle, you should be happy he's not walking towards you. At least I have some hope of not being murdered and raped today.

"You're cute," he said.

Okay...then.

"Um thanks?" I said.

Honestly I didn't know whether to take that as a 'genuine friendly' compliment or a 'about to rape you' compliment.

"It's okay. I don't want to rape you. Although that is such a splendid idea," he said.

"Do you hear that? I think I hear my brother is calling me. I gotta go. Adiós! Ta ta!" I said and got up quickly and started to walk towards the forest.

He stood up and started to walk towards me.

I continued to walk even faster through the forest.

"Hey! Where are you going honey?" he said next to me.

I jumped and held my heart. I managed to say, "Just going for a stroll."

"So why are you walking so fast?" he asked.

"Because I have to train for this sport thingy coming up for school so yeah," I said.

"Stop," he said with authority.

Okay. That's proof enough for you to run now.

I started to run and then I felt this force pushing me towards a tree.

My back hit the tree roughly and I cringed at the pain shooting across my back.

His hands had me in a trap at either side of me.

He was a lot taller than me but he had leant against the tree to meet my eye level.

I stilled instantly forgetting the pain subsiding in my back.

I froze as this was as close as a guy would ever be to me.

I met his eye contact and instantly felt this pull towards him that erupted feelings that I didn't know existed for even a stranger.

He felt so familiar.

Like we've met before.

"I said stop," he said lowly in my ear.

Oh god! I am going to die here. Please help me.

As if I broke loose of invisible chains binding me, I pushed him.

But the strange thing was, that he didn't even falter. He was just sturdy.

His eyes were black. Jet black like his seemingly soft hair.

"What's wrong with your eyes?" I said.

His eyes were trained on my lips like a predator ready to attack its prey.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

He smirked and said in my ear again, "I'm more than okay darling."

His voice was laced with desire and lust and if I detected also, much more deeper than his normal voice earlier. If that is even possible. But I have to admit he sounded so darn sexy.

His jaw clenched and I just had to admire how sexy he had looked when he did that.

"Can you let go of me now?" I said moving now to get out of his death trap.

He moved his face inches near mine and said, "Why? It's just about to get started dear."

When he did that, I could've felt his lips brush a bit against mine but I wasn't sure of it.

He brought his face a little closer, creating a visible tension between us.

I swear all I had to do was just put my face closer and kiss him but I didn't because first off, I don't know this freaking guy and second off, he just gives me this sexual tension I don't comprehend how he can.

Just. Kiss. Me. Already.

Okay. I don't know where that came from.

He brought his face more closer and he brushed his lips against mine for a split second and suddenly just backed away.

I was left confused and mostly surprised that he had pulled away. Because I was really wishing he would've just kissed me with those tempting lips.

Oh my god. What's happening to me?

He ran a hand through his hair in visible frustration and said, "Quod infernum ego sum facis?"

Was that? Was that Latin?

"Translation if you don't mind," I said breaking his clear conversation with himself.

He looked at me and we made eye contact and then he disappeared as soon as my brother stepped out.

"Hey! Belle! What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be by the lake? And why are you-" he said and paused and looked at my position against the tree.

"Oh I don't know. Just taking a stroll, I guess," I said.

I got away from the tree and said, "You know what brother, let's just go home."

"Why? I thought you'd like to see the fireworks from the lake?" he said sounding confused.

"Yeah I know. But uh can we go home?" I said putting on my puppy dog eyes.

"Fine," he said and sighed.

"Follow me," he said.

I walked to the tree and picked up a stone and marked it with an X.

I caught up to him and walked along with him.

We were in the car going home. The wind was feeling cool and chilly through my open hair. I leaned against the window and my mind raced back to this evening.

He was just so familiar.

But I just couldn't pinpoint it.

Or maybe it's because of Blake. Because Blake has blue eyes and dark brown hair. So yeah. It's probably because of that.

This is one hell of an evening.
