19th August

I awake on Impact and Castellar's sofa. Immediately, I check on my soul. The cracks have healed completely, and the pulse has returned to normal.

Tyler 20/20 HP

I sigh happily. Another day on the surface. And this time, I've reunited a family. Well, most of it.

I get up and check the time. It's 9am. Nobody should be up yet. I leave the house quietly and head home. Guidea greets me in to the smell of pancakes.

"Tyler, where did you get those glasses from?" Guidea asks as she dishes up my pancakes. I nearly forgot I was wearing them. "Oh yeah! Dr. Webdings, Impact's dad, told me I was long-sighted and I needed reading glasses!" She hums, and adds some butter and maple syrup on my pancakes. I then savour the flavour for 5 minutes.

"Oh yeah, Guidea, I wanted to ask you something." I say through a mouthful of pancake. "What is it? And please don't talk with your mouth full." She replies.

"Can I go back to Mt. Ebott? I heard they do free abseiling courses!" Her eyes widen in fear.

"May I ask why?"

I grin. "It's a surprise, but can I have a flower pot and shovel?"

"Okay...but you're not going down there without proper equipment!"

----------------------------------------------

An hour later, I'm all packed up and ready to go. Melody attaches the rope to my harness, and I secure my helmet and backpack. She then explains "All you have to do is lean back over the edge and carefully bounce down! Got it?" I nod, and start my descent.

I get up and drag my hand across the rocky wall, getting dirt on my hands.

It only feels like yesterday I was here...

A single golden flower stands higher than the rest.

"Asriel?" I say clearly.

"Huh?" He says as he turns his head around. He groans.

"Oh, it's just you. What do you want, Tyler. And why are you wearing all of that." He gestures towards my getup.

"Guidea wouldn't let me come down here without proper safety equipment."
I say assertively.

"Just cut to the chase." He snaps.

"Well...come with me!" I smile.

"Look, Tyler, I appreciate it and all, but I can't feel love. I can't feel anything anymore. And the only person I ever cared about is gone..." Flowey says sadly.

"But you can feel things. You feel sad like I do. A bit frustrated. We both miss Luke. That's love, Asriel."

He sighs again. "....Yeah I guess. And my name's Flowey, not Asriel."

I stay silent.

Finally, he gives in. "Okay, fine, I'll come with you. But you have to promise me something." He demands.

"Okay. What is it?" I grin.

"Number one: Don't tell anybody about who...I really am. Especially Guidea.
And two...no more resets."

"No more resets." I smile contently as I dig up Flowey and place him in the pot, surrounding him cozily in soil.

I pull on the rope, and we get raised up slowly.

"You know you look like a nerd inside that outfit." Flowey chastises.
"I know." I agree.
