As I pick up Flowey and wave the Asters goodbye, I feel my phone vibrate. Trying not to drop Flowey whilst getting my phone out of my pocket, I see a text from Guidea.

Helena is coming over here tomorrow. Are you coming home from Impact's now? :)
- Gùidea

I text her back one-handed.

* You should have told me my mom was visiting!
* And yeah, I'm coming home rn. :)

"What was that about?" Flowey asks in curiousity.
"Oh! I just thought, you haven't met my mom yet! She's the best!" I grin, opening the door to our house.
"Guid! We're home!" I call, as Guidea walks in from downstairs to greet me.

"Welcome back! Flowey, I believe you haven't met Helena yet, have you?" She smiles, taking the pot off of me.
"Oh, Tyler? Crimson came here earlier, and gave me a gift for you!" She gasps, as she places a brown parcel into my hands. On it is a cute logo, reading Kody's Pop Shop, in blue. I giggle, and eagerly unwrap it, curious as to what it is.

"Huh? What's this?" I comment, lifting a wooden object from beneath the multiple layers of wrapping.
"Oh! Tyler, that's a pan flute!" Guidea chirps, taking it off me to inspect it. I quickly snatch it back.

"Hey, it's mine! Any clue how to use it?" I complain teasingly, looking at it closer. Eight pipes of varying lengths are tied together by a red string. Blowing on them, they each make a different note. I giggle.
"Cool! I gotta show Mom this!" I chirp enthusiastically.

* The next day...

24th January

"Wake up, idiot!" Flowey screeches, making me jump awake. I giggle.
We're definitely back home.

"Yeah, yeah, okay." I chirp, picking out Luke's hoodie again. Smells faintly of chocolate still. Heh.

I hear some commotion downstairs. Sounds like Guidea is taking to someone. I decide to investigate, taking Flowey from the windowsill and downstairs with me. He curses under his breath.

I walk downstairs to be gladly surprised.
"Mom! Hi, I didn't know you'd already be here! I only just got up, hehe." I giggle, running up to give her a hug. Flowey gets uncomfortable. Mom squats down slightly to look at him.

"Ah, hello! Uh...what kind of monster are you? Sorry, I can't tell. What's your name?" Mom chirps, Flowey looking up at her weirdly.

"You're completely chill with a talking flower?" He replies, confusion in his tone of voice. Mom simply giggles.
"I was just talking to a very pleasant sentient goat. What else is new?" She shrugs, laughing nervously.

Suddenly, I feel a bit on edge, as Guidea smiles at me. My head pounds.
No...why am I feeling this way around her still?
Trying to drown out the static noise, I speak up suddenly, interrupting Mom and Guidea's conversation.

"Actually, I've been meaning to talk to you two about something. Do you mind if we go somewhere? Alone?" I inquire, lowering my head down so they can't see my facial expression.

"Hm? What has brought this on, Tyler?" Mom asks politely. Guidea places a hand on my shoulder, and I ignore the green particles surrounding me defiantly.

"I'll tell you once we're alone." I snap, pushing her hand off to stop the glitching.

Guidea comes back into the room, after planting Flowey outside the front window. Mom helps draw the curtains, and I flick on the lights. Then, we all sit down, me facing the two of them, the dining table between us.
