They get out of the plane and into the airport.

"I'm really excited." He's practically jumping up and down.

"Get ready for a wild two weeks, player two. I'm gonna show you how to live." They walk outside.

"Woah, It's beautiful!" A car horn honks. It must be their ride. Michae's Tia!

"Tia!"

"Michaelito! Mi bambino, que tal!" Michael drags Jeremy over with the biggest smile.

"Tia, this is-"

"Jeremy!! I've heard so much about you, you are so much taller than I expected!" She looks like an older, girl version of Michael.

"Hi!" He's just as excited to meet Michael's family.

"I'm Carmelita, Michael's mother's sister. Get in, get in, Abuela's waiting. Stop standing around like a couple of bums!"

"I like her already." They both get in and their on their way.

"I hear you've graduated!"

"Yep. Tio was saying he'd take us to a party to celebrate."

"Ugh, on of Miguel's parties... Be safe, ninos."

"We will, uh..." Evan doesn't know what to call her.

"Please, any friend of Michael's as close as you is practically family. Call me Tia." Michael shakes his head with a grin.

"Just call her Carmelita. She's just upset you're not old enough to hit on so this is the next best thing."

"Oh, tu culo."

"Te amo, Tiaaaaaaaaa" Jeremy blushes but smiles. The drive is pleasant and Michael's Aunt is really nice. When they get to his grandma's house, they're greeted by Michael's mom on the porch.

"Ah, Jeremy! I'm so glad you could come with us, how was your flight, boys?"

"Long."

"Michael slept for most of it."

"Well, that's my son for you. He sleeps so much because he has so little friends."

"I sleep so much because I have depression, Mother." Jeremy is there for him. He always has been. She chuckles.

"Well forget it for about two weeks for me."

"Will do, ma'am." His mom is very caring, she worries about him.

"Why don't you boys head in. Abuela's dying to meet Jeremy."

"Apparently everyone is.."

"Don't sweat it, Jer, eventually they'll get bored of you." He opens the door and gestures for Jeremy to go in. "Ladies first."

"Oh ha ha very funny, Mells." He walks in anyways with a smile on his face as he shakes his head. Michael laughs a little.

"You know you love me." He guides Jeremy into the kitchen where a short, old woman is sitting at the table, reading the newspaper.

"Abuelaaaaaa!"

"Michaelito! Mijo, aqui, aqui! Te extrane mucho!"

"Quien es?"

"Abuela, es mi amigo mejor, Jeremy." She looks at him with a smile.

"Michaelito, tu novio?" He blushes hard.

"N-No, Abuela, no-"

"El es tan lindo!" Jeremy is just standing there awkwardly.

"Uh, Hi."

"Hola! Es un placer conocerte. Estoy tan contento de que mi Michael haya encontrado a un muchacho para soportarlo."

"Sh-She said hi."

"....That didn't just sound like "hi""

"The rest sin't important. Promise."

"Cuando vas a proponerte, Michael?"

"Abuela, El NO es mi novio!

"Disparates." One of Michael's cousins walks in. He's got big muscles and slim dark hair. A scruff for a beard.

"Entonces supongo que puedo tenerlo entonces." He grins. "El es lindo." Michael glares and blushes a little.

"Vete a la mierda, Brandon, no le gustan los chicos."

"Dudo que. Solo miralo." Jeremy is just being the awkward one in the room again.

"Tocalo de todos modos y te lastimare." He stands a little taller and glares harder. He's trying to be taken seriously. Their grandmother sighs.

"oh, no pelees por el pobre muchacho, lo has puesto incomodo." Michael huffs and grabs Jeremy's arm, grumbling.

"C'mon, let's go back outside." Brandon winks at him before they exit, making Jeremy blush and more uncomfortable. When they make it outside, Michael turns to Jeremy and says'

"That was Brandon. If he lays a goddamn finger on you in any way you don't want him to, you tell me, okay?"

"Whatcha talkin' about?" A Latina about the height of Michael come waltzing up. Michael sighs.

"Maria."

"Who's this."

"H-Hi..." He stammers.

"This is my friend, Jeremy."

"Aw, you brought this pretty thing all the way down here for me?"

"Wha-"

"You know I enjoy white meat~"

"Maria!" Jeremy chuckles and his heart starts to race. She steps up on the porch, a little closer to Jeremy.

"Maybe he could come share my room while you're in town."

"!!!!!" Jeremy looks to Michael with a smile on his face, but his smile fades. He clears his throat.

"uh, sorry about that Maria.. I can't."

She pouts. "Aw, come on, what's the harm?" Michael isn't looking their way. He himself is practically pouting, looking at the ground, hands in his pockets. It's Jeremy's decision.

"I, uh, I have my eyes on someone. Back at home." Michael glances over. Maria puts on a seductive smile.

"aw.. She doesn't have to know, it's just for a bit. A... fling?"

"I can't do that. I'm sorry Maria." He's the first person EVER to reject Maria like that. At least one that Michael had seen. Michael is honestly impressed. Maria huffs.

"We'll see." She steps inside.

"....Dude, I've never seen anyone do that."

"....Do what?"

"Fucking REJECT Maria, what strength, Jeremy."

"Yeah, well.." He wants to say it.

"Way to be loyal to Christine, I guess."

"What?"

"The girl you've got your eye on. Like you said."

"Oh, uh, right. Yeah." The rest of the afternoon is pretty calm until Miguel gets there, ready to take these children to this party.

"Michaelito, vamos! La fiesta no nos esperara." Michael grins.

"Jeremy, are you ready to have the night of your life?"

"Yeah."

"Michael! Venga!"

"Bein, vamos, jesus!" He huffs. "Let's go, before Miguel explodes or something." Jeremy follows him out and to the car. He thinks Michael's family is great so far. They all pretty much adore him so far. It's better than Michael thought, but also worse because of Brandon and Maria. How's he supposed to keep them off Jeremy?
