The next morning is really sore for Jake and Rich. They didn't sleep well in those chairs. Rich groans.
"My fuckin neck..."
("I can fix that-")
"jeSUS -" Rich is spooked. He forgot about that. ("Dude. Not cool. ")
("My bad.") Jake makes a noise and pulls Rich closer before.
"Shit- my back."
"These chairs are shit, dude."
"They're hospital chairs. What do you expect?" Chloe has been up for awhile. Brooke is passed out from being up all night with her.
"Uh, not this?" ("please help with my fuckin neck.")
("Will do") and literally in a snap, Rich can't feel the pain in his neck. Jake back is in so much pain though.
("Oh thank God.") "Want me to rub your back, dude?"
"Yes PLEASE."
"Turn that way then, Jakey, I got you." He turns and Rich's hands are like Magic. Jakes back pops way more than it should.
"All that sports and physical therapy training is paying off, yeah?"
"Ohhhh yeah. Rich your hands are like MAGIC."
"I try, baby." Chloe rolls her eyes at them.
"Jelly, Chlo?"
"Maybe a little."
"I'll massage your feet after his back, how's that sound?"
"Fantastic. They need it."
"Nice." And that's what he does. And also what Brooke wakes up to. Weird
"What the..?"
"She wanted a massage. "
"My feet are so swollen babe."
"And I'm a professional. She's in good hands, Brooke. Literally."
"He's in college right now for physical therapy."
"... Okay. I would've seen you as more of... More of a guy in the field than the guy fixing muscles."
"Eh. This seems more practical."
"And it's fantastic for me!" Jake says across the room.
"Yeah it is. Amazing massages whenever I'm available."
"Helps me stay in shape too!"
"For what?"
"Oh..... I'm sort of uh........."
"Jakes a model!" Jake sighs.
"You aren't serious."
"EXTREMELY serious. He's damn good at it." Jake is hiding how red his face is.
"I can see Jake as a model. You've got the body for it."
"Hell Yeah he does."
"Yeah yeah, what do you guys do?" He's trying to change the subject
"I'm trying hard to be a school teacher!" Brooke beams.
"Really??" Jake is actually surprised.
"Yep! It's amazing to be able to teach young people things to better their future!"
"Wow that.... oddly suites you." She smiles.
"Thank you!"
