As my eyes opened, I looked around. I had been placed onto a white bed, the similar ones you would see in a hospital.
Where am I? I thought.
I then remembered the previous moment when a man moved me to a different room. I took in my surroundings and saw a big room with files and documents placed everywhere. There was a small computer with papers stacked high against it. Next to the papers was a cup of coffee. I got up from the bed and walked over to the coffee. I dipped my finger in, testing to see whether it was hot or not, to see if this was placed recently.
It’s hot. I said to myself.
I went back over to the bed and laid down. Even though I wasn’t tired at all, I closed my eyes. It was a good thing I did because the door burst opened and someone came in.
“Right, if you’re awake, get up now! There’s no time to play games.” said the voice. The voice belonged to the man that had injected me with the substance and caused me to fall asleep.
“Ok. Fine it’s up to you. If you don’t get up by the time I come back in then you will regret it badly. When you do get up you must go to the last room on the right with the door labelled seventy-two on it. You go in any other room and some very bad will happen to you… You’re lucky nothing major has happened to you yet. Most of the time, we start straight on them!” he laughed. I considered his threats as he walked out and as soon as he shut the door after him I got up. I waited five seconds and opened the door.
What did he mean when he said “we start straight on them”? I asked myself.
I looked straight past the long corridor and walked up to every door and looked for the number.
Seventy, seventy-one, seventy-two! I thought. I slowly pulled down the handle and went in.
In the room was a small chair that was made of plastic. The walls were gray and they were covered in pictures and pictures. I looked closely at the pictures and saw what was on them. I almost threw up and fainted.
