“You shouldn’t trust people you fully don’t know,” he said to me. “Of course, this girl is bright and clever. She did the right thing.”
He started to walk towards me. Then Violet kicked him in the stomach and hit his face. He fell to the floor groaning. She gave one last kick in his leg and then said,
“C’mon. Now’s the time to run,”
“What? Where did that come from?” I said stuttering.
“I can act well, when I want to,” she said. She ran over to his side and picked up the knife.
“But what about the photo and the tears?” I asked, stunned.
“Well, the photo wasn’t even my house, I have know idea who’s it is, maybe one of the girls’ or something, he probably thought I was someone else, and then I pinched my self on my weak spot, to get tears” she said explaining.
“I thought-”
“Yes, I know what you thought. You thought that I was going to hand him the knife like an idiot and not do anything about it. Do you really think I’m that stupid?” she said.
“No! That’s not what I meant! It’s because of the stuff you told me. I didn’t really expect such a powerful kick like that from you,” I explained. “Anyway, let’s move on.”
We both started to run as fast as we could, even though we knew he couldn’t get us, seeing as he was lying on the floor in pain.
“Where do you think the girls would’ve gone?” I asked.
“Maybe they went to the lake again?” she suggested as we slowed down.
“No, it’s an open space there,”
“Ok, let’s just keep walking,” she said.
After a while, we came to a small, thin stream that was leading to somewhere.
“Let’s follow the stream, it will probably take us to a bigger lake,” I said, pointing at it.
“Sure,” she said agreeing.
We walked up by the small stream and it led us up a small hill. We could hear the water splashing further up and we smiled with excitement.
As we got closer, the noises got louder until we had to shout to hear each other properly.
“IT’S A WATERFALL!” I shouted.
“I KNOW!” she replied covering her ears.
We went down towards it and we drank with glee. I cleaned the knife from the mud.
“We need something to carry the water with,” she said as we back away.
“There’s nothing here,” I replied.
“Let’s go check down there,” she said, pointing in the distance.
When we were close, I could see a small shelter place big enough for one very small person.
“What’s that?” I asked.
Violet shrugged her shoulders in response. We went to check it out. Near the shelter was a small plastic container and two water bottles.
“This is perfect!” I said running up to it and picking it up.
“We could use this for hunting!” said Violet; as she picked up a wooden spear that had a sharpened stone at the end.
“Wow! It’s our lucky day!” I said smiling at my found treasure.
“Put everything down, and put your hands on your heads,” said a female voice.

Okay, so I know I haven't updated a chapter for a long time but here it is! So sorry for the long wait and I've just left you guys on an even bigger cliff hanger! What do you guys think's gonna happen? Who do you think it is? Friend or foe? It would be amazing if you could write something in the comments, last time nobody write anything :(
