You're so... SOFT?!!!

"Come. Come to me. You'll be happy with me." Prince Licht gives me one of his most charming smiles.

"No. She deserves me. I am the right choice." Prince Bruno pushes his glasses up with his hand and it makes a clicking sound.

"Although I hate to go against Bruno, I believe I am the best choice for her. Even better than a torte!" Prince Leonhard suddenly appears next to all of his brothers.

"Tha... Yo....." Prince Kai appears in front of everbody and holds his hand out to me. Thank You? Again? I panic, not knowing who to choose. But, a part of me says to choose Prince Kai. He's the one I'm closest to. He's the one who I've actually talked to before. As I start reaching out towards his hand, a brilliant white light starts shining into my eyes. It's so blinding I can hardly see the princes' faces anymore. So close... so close to his hand... just a little more...

I sit straight up on my bed and look at my hands. I sigh with relief, knowing it was just a dream. Crap, I was behind schedule. I could tell just from looking out the window and seeing how far the sun has risen. Time to get ready.

I enter Prince Kai's room with his breakfast tray placed in my hands.

"Your higness, your breakfast has arrived." I take a bow and stand back up, looking at Prince Kai's face.

"Set... down... table..." He points his finger at his desk.

"Of course." I place the tray down on his table and turn to Prince Kai. I bow again and leave his room. Things have gotten a lot smoother and easier. He's getting nicer and even talks to me about the weather sometimes. Well, either way, today's the day I want to experiment and find out whether or not Prince Kai is as kind as I think he is. I smile a bit, thinking of a plan to test him. Accidentally spill a drink on him? Forget to laundry his clothes? Wait... no. I figured it out.

A couple hours later...
I see Prince Kai napping on the grass of the tranquil garden of the palace with Shadow, the royal dog, laying beside him. The fountain is beautiful and has a design of crisscrossing and intersecting lines of water. It's quite windy, and he doesn't have his jacket or anything else to keep him warm. Blanket and tea ready, I slowly walk over to him. He looks so... peaceful. He fits in the landscape of tranquility. But that's only when he's sleeping. Once in front of him, I crouch down and lay the blanket over his body. I also set the tray of tea next to him and slowly... slowly stand up. All of a sudden, his eyes open wide and glare at me, just as I expected.

"I'm so sorry Prince Kai! I- it was just cold today and I figured you needed something warm. I'm so sorry if I worried you in any way!" I take on a panicked face and he just glares at me. Then, his hand... starts moving?! He grabs my hand and I don't fake the panicked face anymore. He pulls me closer... and closer... and says:
