You're so... SOFT?!!!

Over Time

"Prince Kai was supposed to arrive yesterday near early afternoon but he came at 5:00 or so. You should ask him what happened."

"Yeah. You didn't have to tell me though. I was already planning to."

"I wonder what really happened. Tell me after, okay? I need somma dat royal gossip."

"Yeah, yeah. Oh, can you tell Prince Licht thank you for me? He helped me the other day."

"OoOooooOo he specifically helped you? I feel something's about to happen."

"Stahp. Come on, let's go or else we'll be late."

"Prince Kai, good morning." I bow with his breakfast tray in my hands and then I notice that under his icy blue eyes are dark circles.

"Are you alright, Your Highness? You seem unwell. If I could ask, what happened yesterday?" I walk towards him and set the tray down on a table.

"Sorry, I can't..." he shakes his head lightly.

"I'm sorry for asking." I nod understandably and then I press a hand against his forehead. It feels a bit hot. Prince Kai's eyes open wide and then I realize what I just did.

"I'm so sorry! I was just worried..." I start to peel off my hand from his forehead and my cheeks grow hot red. But Prince Kai grabs my hand and holds it with both of his hands. He looks at me carefully (more like glaring but let's make this sound more romantic shall we).

"I'm fine. Please don't worry about me. I'll be fine. Take care of yourself." He rubs my hand like he always does and then he gets that adorable face of his and mumbles, "Soft..."

I can't help but giggle.

"So soft..."

"You are very adorable, Prince Kai." More giggles escape from my mouth but they're soon stopped by the soft and gentle lips of Prince Kai. He lifts me up into his arms and into his chest.

"You're adorable." He presses himself into me and I wrap my arms around his waist.

I love these moments. I love these kisses.

I love him.

But I know that soon something will break us apart. I wonder what will happen then.
