Chapter 8 Training and A New Home

Over the next couple of weeks Takuke and Graywolf became inseparable.  Sure she liked Haruka and Takashi but her and Takuke just seemed to click after the events.  She was happier now that she and her new team were getting along.  They even showed up for wolf meeting which led to the whole pack to get closer to them as well.  Training was usually just with her team but today was different.

"Okay so today we are going to work on chakra control.  Aniko what are you doing here?  I specifically asked you to stay away during this time of day."  "Oh come on we all could use some healthy competition.  Besides, I am very eager to see young Graywolf again."  "You just saw me yesterday Sensi."  "Oh, but I've known you for years.  There were times when you were with the wolves that your wolf parents would bring you to me and...."  "Aniko shut up."  Hikashi said hastily. 

"Wait what?"  Before Graywolf could say another word she was tackled to the ground.  "Graywolf your back.  I missed you sooooo much."  She looked at the dark eyed boy in shock and confusion.  "What don't you remember me?"  The boy started to pout and she could see a tear in his eye while he was still having her pinned beneath him.  "Ummm can you let me up?"  That is when he realized that he was still over her.  All of a sudden the weight was lifted off her and thrown across the area. 

She looked up to see Ryuu's outstretched hand.  She grabbed his hand and he pulled her to her feet.  "Thanks."  "Yeah whatever."  Okay what's his problem.  "Hikashi, why doesn't she remember us?"  "Good question."  Graywolf said.  She looked to her brother and saw him looking guilty as hell.  "What do you know that I don't big brother?"  Graywolf said walking over to him.  He lowered his head in shame.  "I'm sorry sis.  They thought they were doing what was best for you."  "Who thought what was best for me?"  "Mom, dad, the counsil, Hikashi, and your birth parents.  All decided it was best to wipe your memory of this world since you got attacked by a large bear."  "You wiped my memories because of a bear?!  I get attacked when I'm out hunting in the other world.  And you wiped them because of a bear from this one?!" 

"Not me the wolf counsil and all of them."  Jamie said in defence.  Graywolf turned on Hikashi.  "Explain.  NOW!!"  He flinched at her tone but awnsered her anyway.  After the explination she bolted out to find her pack.  "Graywolf please wait."  "No."  Was all she said as she ran from her team.  Hikashi then turned to Aniko and Yajuu and where met with tears in their eyes.  "You wiped her memories of me?  How could you do that?"  "Yajuu, some things are just harder to explain."  Hikashi said rubbing his eyes in frustration.

After Graywolf found the pack and exploded once more she returned to her team and grabbed Hikashi's hand.  "I am very mad at you."  He nodded in understanding and waited for her to continue.  "Even though.  I can't stay with the pack right now.  Sooooo I was wondering if I could stay with you."  She asked him not knowing what his awnser would be in the end.  Hikashi smiled.  "Actually Graywolf.  There was something we wanted to show you after training.  Come with me."  He said as he whistled for the others and led her away. 

"So while you were away with the pack moments ago I got some help hoping this would atleast soften your mood.  This is our new home."  Graywolf looked at the building in awe.  "Wait, did you say our home.  As in all of us together?"  She said realizing what was just told to her.  They all smiled at her and she beamed right back as they walked in.  As she looked through the building she noticed that there was a room for Jamie as well.  And it had a door leading to her own room. 

"This is amazing."  Soon they all started to decorate there own rooms.  After awhile Jamie began to growl.  Everyone came into the room and looked at him as he growled in the direction of Graywolf and Hikashi got alittle nervous at this picture.  Graywolf just looked at him.  "Whats wrong brother?"  "Don't you smell that?"  He growled.  She stopped and smelled the air around her.  She led herself to the window more.  "Tigers."  She growled out. 

She jumped out of the window to face the intruders.  To her surprise it was an older looking boy.  "Who the hell are you?"  She was soon followed by her new family and brother.  "Tyson, what the hell are you doing here?"  "Oh come on bro. just cause your jelouse that Graywolf and I were always closer doesn't mean you should be so hateful.  I missed my wolf girl."  The boy known as Tyson said as he put an arm around Graywolf.  They were best friends before her memories got erased.  

She grabbed Tyson's arm and took it off her.  He looked at her confused then realization hit him.  "Seriously, your memories are still gone.  Ya know that was a low blow but you want to know what was an even lower blow.  That was when you brother put a protection jutsu around her to keep me away from her now that was a low blow."  Graywolf looked over to Hikashi.

"Seriously?"  Hikashi looked to her apologetically then turned his attention back to his brother.  "Let me guess Tyson dear mommy didnt like that big bad older brother kept her son from stalking the little wolf girl."  He taunted.  Tyson did not like that one bit and took a threatening step towards him as the others of his group came into view. 

Graywolf heard hushed whispering and she looked in the direction to see two small children.  She stepped inbetween the boys.  "Enough you egotistacl morons.  If you two start a fight infront of those children over there and scare them ill give you both a reason to be terrified of me.  Do you understand?"  Tyson snorted, which earned him a slap across the face from Graywolf.  "I am not kidding little boy."  He rubbed the side of his face as he kept eye contact with her.  "I forgot how hard you can hit.  Fine.  I'm sorry, I'm done."  She turned to look at Hikashi and saw that Aniko and his team had arrived. 

Just as Graywolf thought the damage had died down one of the boys from Tyson's side lunged at Takashi and a war broke out.  Tyson grabbed Graywolf by the waist and pulled her out of harms way as they both just stood and whatched the mess unfold.  "You brought a hot head in the village how stupid can ya get?"  She growled at him.  He rolled his eyes at her and focused back on the fight. 

Soon a flash of brown ran past them and they heard a female voice yelling for him.  Graywolf searched the fighting group with her eyes as Tyson caught the girl before she got in danger.  Finally she spotted the boy between Haruka and the one who started this mess.  He had let his claws out and was about to strike.  Graywolf could see that he would miss and if she didnt act fast he would hit the boy right in the face most likely killing him.

She lunged inbetween them and the claws dug in her back.  She let out a roar that would make any lioness proud.  All movement came to a halt as they looked at the crouched girl.  "What the hell Graywolf?!"  Haruka screamed.  "SHUT UP!  If you and this brat had been paying attention to your surroundings I wouldnt have had to save this kid."  She spat at the girl.  Haruka flinched when she saw the little boy under Graywolfs body, as did the tiger boy. 

She pick the young boy up and carried him over to Tyson.  "You idiot!"  THe little girl yelled as Graywolf put the boy down.  "You scared me, dont you ever do that again."  "I'm sorry little sister.  I jsut wanted them to stop."  "Names both of you."  Graywolf said laying a hand on the boys shoulder.  "We dont have names."  The girl spat.  "Whatch your tone.  How old are you?"  "We're Eight.  We are just called the dust children.  We only call eachother brother and sister."

"Fine."  She then turned her attention to the others.  "I am not asking, I am ordering you as the alpha Afiow's daughter to go to the counsil meeting tonight and you are to bring the tiger counsil with you.  Your punishment will be brought forth tonight.  You will be there.  If you are not.... I'm comming for you.  Now LEAVE!"  Graywolf ordered and they all dispersed leaving Tyson to be the only Tiger Boy left.  "I'll make sure they get there."  He said as he placed the girl next to Graywolf and left giving her a quick kiss on the cheek as to say sorry for the trouble he has caused her.
