When she arrived back with the children Hikashi was the first to reach her. "Graywolf there you are we were worried you wouldnt make it back in time." "Relax dude. Oh, by the way, meet your alls new neice and nephew. Rozalita and Zaynther, kids this is your uncle Hikashi, Uncle Takashi, Uncle Takuke, and Aunt Haruka. These two are now my children. I will make it official tomorrow. For now lets head to the meeting." With those words they all left to see how this next faze would unfold for the family and what troubles they may face in the future.
When they made it to the meeting site there was yelling all around. This is the first major council meeting that the others have ever been to so it was quite a surprise. When they all saw Princess Graywolf they went dead silent. "Graywolf, Just in time my daughter." Afiow boomed. "Now, May I ask why were are hear child?" "Father forgive me for calling this council meeting on such short notice but I beleive it is needed." "Then please Princess, explain what needs to be said."
Graywolf looked to the elder tiger and bowed respectfully to him. "Gladly, Tigers and Wolves have been enemies for decades, actually no let me correct myself. Since the begining. And there is NO NEED FOR THIS! We are all very powerful creatures and we all want what is best for our own and our homes. So may I ask why do we fight as if we only want WAR! Is this what the two most powerful creatures of this world WANT?! Today a child was put at risk. He was almost killed. I have the wounds on my back as proof. A little boy was almost killed because of our own families pride. Pride is nothing if we do not have control over our own anger as well. My brother Takashi and this cub are what has initiated the fight in village walls. I hope that both parties will be punished for such brash and irresponsible behavior that put a little kid almost in his early grave." "What do you expect us to do then?" It was a Tyson who spoke this time.
"A freaking truce." She spoke curtly. There were some chuckles from the others at her choice of words before they heard Hot Head growl. "Over my dead body." They all looked to him. "Brother." Graywolf tried but he cut her off. "NO! Dont you see sister. The tigers will never see reason." "Some tigers would say the same of wolves." She argued. He then stood and Graywolf knew what was about to happen.
"Everyone please, stay out of this. My brother is angry and I understand his reasoning for it. But do not interviene. I say we work together to make our home safe and at peace once more. We need this." "No what we need is for you to shut your mouth." Hot Head snarled and lunged at his younger sister. She threw him to the ground. And the fight began. Blow after blow each earning new wounds. Everyone watched as the siblings faught. The elders wanted to stop the fight but Aniow and Afiow wanted to respect their daughters wishes and kept them at bay.
On the most resent blow Hot Head had broken something in her and that is where Jamie has had enough. "STOP IT HOT HEAD! DIDN'T YOU HEAR THE BREAK! YOU'LL KILL OUR SISTER!" He screamed out and that is when Graywolf finally felt the pain in her body. Hot Head snapped out of it and came to his sister choking out apologies.
Aniow then spoke. "Is there anyone here that does not agree with my daughters proposal?" No one spoke as Graywolf was starting to slip out of consciousness. "Very well then, the law shall be passed. Wolves and Tigers shall rule these territorys together. No more fighting. All parties involved in the almost death of the child will be punished. Do you accept Tiger council?" "We do." "Good now if you will excuse me I need to get my daughter some help." Graywolf felt teeth on her skin but could not focus her eyes enough to see who it was as Aniow lifted her up and tossed her on the soft fur back.
"Hold on, Momma will get you some help my child." Graywolf grabbed the fur on instinct and Aniow took off towards the village with Jamie and her team on her heels. When they arrived Lady Nadina was called in to assist with the injuries. Twelve bones in all were broken but the one that conserned her the most was the broken neck. She told the others that it was a miracle that she had survived the blow.
"My daughter is strong. She will make it through whatever you need to do just do it." Aniow spoke confidently. They had managed to set all the bones while Graywolf slept. After two days Graywolf finally awoke from her sleep.
When Graywolfs eyes opened she saw that her room was filled with the elders of the tiger pride and the wolf pack. She turned to her left hearing a snore and looked on the floor to find her brother Jamie. Graywolf chuckled as she reached for her glass of water. The tigers looked at her couriously while the wolves only began to chuckle already knowing what she was about to do. She dumped the whole glass on the sleeping wolf and he bolted up angry till he realized that his sister had finally woke up.
"Mom! Graywolfs up!" Aniow and Afiow ran into the room to see a grinning Graywolf and a soaked Jamie. "What happened to him?" "Guess." Graywolf said to her father. "You're evil." "I know." Hot head then walked into the room. "Graywolf?" He asked in a small voice. Graywolf looked to her older brother and smiled letting him know all was forgiven.
"Mommy!!!!!!" They all looked to the door to see two figures ran in and leaped up on Graywolf. She grimaced but let them stay regardless on her lap. "So can I ask why I have tigers and wolves in my hospital room?" "They all agreed to your terms of peace. Also the kids were admitted in the pack. Now rest dear I'm just glad you are alright." "I'm done resting mother. I'd like to take my pups home. Thankyou all for your patients. I am sorry you all had to witness that last night."
The leader of the tigers stepped up. "It is perfectly alright. You should be quite proud of your pups. They gave Hot Head quite the lashing for hurting you." "Yeah are you sure they arnt really yours?" Hot Head piped up. "They made me feel like a puppy when they lectured me just like you do." They all laughed and then Graywolf finally got them to let her out of the hospital.
