Chapter 12 Living With Ryuu

After school there was yelling and confusion amongst Graywolfs team that she had grown to love as family.  "Why can't you stay with us?  You're just gonna leave us?!"  "It's not like they gave her a choice idiot."  Takuke told him glaring at him.  Graywolf gave him a smile.  "Thanks bubby.  Bub, I'm not leaving you guys forever its just I have to live with him to keep the kids with me.  I can't trust that woman to take care of them.  They ran away for a reason.  And she tried to hit me when I mentioned it.  Ryuu stopped her and he's saving these kids for me by doing this."  

At the mention of someone trying to hit her Takuke grabbed her arm and pulled her to him.  "What did you just say?"  He growled out.  She stared into his dark eyes and gave him a kiss on the cheek.  "Easy big brother.  I'm fine.  She didn't get the chance to hurt me."  "tch, good."  He said returning to normal.  "Besides guys, I'll be over all the time and so will the kids and we still have training and school anyway right?"  She asked them.  Finally seeing them smile she started to get her things together again with their help and Ryuu's.  

Ryuu refused to let Graywolf carry anything that could cause her to hurt herself.  "If you don't stop that someone might think that you have a crush on her."  He rolled his eyes and hit the mischevious brother of Graywolf and kept walking towards his home.  When they arrived Ryuu's Aunt Princess greeted them with open arms.  "Graywolf, welcome Ryuu told me you had agreed to live with us."

"Not by any other choice.  If she didn't then she would have lost the kids and she doesn't want that to happen."  Takuke tells her bluntly earning a warning growl from Graywolf.  He only slit his dark eyes at her to show her he was not afraid.  "Hold your tounge brother.  I did what I had to.  We should be thanking this family for the fact that they would even open their doors for me and the kids."  He only scoffed at her and gave a watever to her.  She only rolled her eyes and went inside to set everything up.  

After all her things were brought in she sent her family back to the house and got the kids ready for dinner.  That night they all piled into Ryuu's room and dog piled on his bed.  The first couple of weeks were alittle rough and led to more fighting then usual.  Princess was begining to be conserned when things seeemd to be finally settling down.  The kids ended up in their own rooms, and Graywolf ended up in her own room aswell.  Though most nights she fell asleep on the couch.  

One evening she was in the living room when Ryuu was at the training grounds with his cousins and his aunt and uncle were out to dinner.  Graywolf was watching tv and a show came on that her and her siblings would watch everyday after school.  This made her start to think about how much she missed them and she began to cry.  Soon she heard the door open and she wiped her eyes quickly.  Ryuu came in and sat next to her and sighed in boredom. He looked over and saw her eyes were red.  

He started to chuckle.  "What so, just because you didn't get your way you start bawling?"  He laughed at her till he saw she wasn't giving a reaction to him at all.  That is when he realized that she was really hurting right now.  "Graywolf are you okay?"  He said leaning up to look at her.  "I'm fine Ryuu.  Just missing my family."  He sighed and put his arm around her and pulled her to his side.  She let him and just sat there with her head on his shoulder.  

They ended up falling asleep on the couch when everyone came home.  Princess saw them first and shhhed everyone.  "Let them sleep.  This is the first time they have been in the same room without fighting."  She told them and they all went to bed.  Princess was the last to go to bed because she went to get Ryuu and Graywolf a blanket.  

The next morning they woke up to one another and Graywolf got up and got ready for the day.  As they were heading out the door to meet the others for a training session they didn't speak at all.  The kids were with them because Graywolf had to take them to a school play date thing that the school had set up for the kids to get to know Roze and Zayne.  

Soon they were dropped off and Graywolf and Ryuu went back to their path of not speaking and heading to the training grounds to meet the others.  Finally they were there and she took Haruka aside and told her about what happened while the others trained.

"I thought you guys hated eachother?"  "I don't know.  I mean he gets on my nerves but I don't think I really hate him.  And I don't really understand why he is doing all this for me anyway."  "Maybe he has a crush on you."  Haruka offered.  Graywolf laughed.  "We're ten like that isn't even an option."  Graywolf said laughing again.  

Both girls laughed and Ryuu looked over to them.  "What are you two giggling about over there?"  He asked them.  They both looked at him.  "Don't worry about it."  Graywolf told him.  He walked over and pulled her up.  He dragged her to the sparing section.  

"Seriously dude?"  "We came here to train so come on spar with me."  She agreed and they began.  It took over half an hour to finish their sparing match and finally Graywolf had Ryuu down on the ground and won the match.  The others at this point had started to watch it all.  Ryuu's teammates were not used to seeing him loosing especially to a girl.  After the match was over they all went their separate ways and Graywolf went with Ryuu.
