"The next part of your exam will be a written test. You all will be put in a room with everyone involved and take a test that shall be graded. If you are caught cheating you will be disqualified. Follow me." A woman said as she led everyone to a room. In this room it looked like a college lecture room.
"Take your seats. Your instructor will be with you shortly to hand out your papers." They all waited with their companions and friends nearby. They waited in the room and talk amongst themselves. "I wonder who our instructor will be." Aya said. She then started to talk about how he must be super hot.
"Oh give it a break Aya. He is probably like 40 or something." Satoshi said bored out of his mind already. Graywolf could empithize with him on that. She hated to be seated for too long. Thankfully the instructor came in a few moments later and she was ready to hear what he had to say. "Interesting. So many of you, and so young. Well then. You may be good at fighting against mindless animals...." at that growles erupted in the room from Graywolf and her family. The man looked at them and his eyes finally landed on Graywolf.
"Ah yes I had forgotten that wolf children were taking it this year with their ring leader little sister. Graywolf was it? Forgive my comment. I had simply forgotten. Back to the point. This will have to deal with your brain and how well you knwo the ninja world and its history. Now remember anyone who is caught cheating my my watchdogs and you and your team will be disqualified. Take one and pass it down the row."
They all did as they were asked and passed it down the row. Soon everyone had their papers and where almost ready to start the test. "BEGIN!" The man boomed out, and they flipped their papers over to start on their work. All of them began and Graywolf noticed something about the others. Everyone was cheating in a sneaky mannor. Even more sneaky then if they were just in class. She got the point they could cheat but they just couldnt get caught. This went against everything she was ever taught about her gift but she had to prove her worth. She slipped into the leaders mind to find out what was really going on. When she realized that only a few were awnserable even by him she realized she didnt need to really write anything. So she didn't. she just took a nap.
Many names were called out and teams were dismissed as she napped in her seat while Jamie also fell asleep. Some of the others were trying to figure out why she wasnt working on the test like everyone else was. But they noticed her other teamates where working their asses off. They thought for sure that she was going to get her group disqualified. Though it seems that the lookouts paid no attention to her or her wolf at all.
No one seemed to understand how she was getting away with this till the last group was called out. "Alright pencils down!" The instructor boomed out. That shook Graywolf and Jamie out of their slumber. She saw that Takashi was frustrated and she smiled while shaking her head. 'Looks like he didnt get the memo.' Jamie said chuckling through their minds. 'You're so mean.' Graywolf replied. 'You know I'm right.' He told her looking her in the eyes. "Alright all those who were not called out come to the front hand me your tests and head out. You all passed this phase."
That is when the others caught on. They were only not to get caught it was a skills test. No one really had to write anything. Some of them sighed in relief while others sighed in annoyance. As they all walked out the other wolves looked to her wondering what was going on with her and Jamie and why they were laughing while their bondeds were stressing out over how they managed to pass.
"Should we?" "Maybe." "Maybe we shouldn't let them suffer." "WHAT?!" Haruka finally said completly annoied. "You didnt have to write anything." "It was a skills test to see how sneaky you could be." They all gaped at her. "WHAT?!" They all yelled making Jamie and Graywolf take a step back. "Yeah?" She said as more of a question.
They ended up laughing about it later that night as they were allowed to have a rest for a few days. They needed to train and work off some of the stress though so when they went to the training grounds they were not surprised when they saw Ryuu and his crew along with Chorro and his group. What they did not expect was for Chorro and Ryuu getting ready to throw down for real.
"Guys? What's up?" Graywolf said stepping carefully between them. "Get out of the way Graywolf." "No Ryuu. Not untill you tell me what is going on." "Eyeliner here decided it was a good idea to tell Ryuu that he was pathetic in his fighting technique. He has it comming Graywolf. So back off." "Make me." She told the girl that always seemed to be right on him all the time. She then turned her attention back to Ryuu. "Hey. Don't do this. Just calm down." "Graywolf." "Ryuu please. Just do this one thing for me. Don't fight him. You both are very powerful. But Chorro goes for the kill all the time. Imagin what that would do to Rozalita and Zaynether. They would be devisted without their Uncle Ryuu around if you happened to loose to him."
He finally looked at her. He thought for a moment then dropped his stance. "Fine. I'm sorry." She smiled and then turned to Chorro. "Okay so he is willing to let this go. Can you do the same? Think of the pup Chorro please." He stared at her bored. "Come little one." She said to the pup in Tamaris arms. He leaped from her and jumped into Graywolfs arms. "Let me show you something." She told Chorro. She stepped closer to him as if he was a wild tiger about to pounce. She connected her thoughts to his and went into the pups mind. "Okay little one tell him what you want to say."
"Chorro please don't do this. I'm scared. Please master don't. I don't want to loose you. You really scared me the first time you tried to hurt me. I don't want to see that again. Please." He looked at the little one in shock then to Graywolf. "How did you do that?" "I'm a telepath. If i connect your mind to mine and go into the little ones head you can see all he wants to show us and more if i wished to go farther. Now you know the pups love for you. So what are you going to let it go?"
He grabbed the pup and talked to him low. "I'm sorry little one. I will stop for you and her. That is the only reason I am stopping. "Thankyou master." He had forgotten that he was still connected to her mind and did something that surprised her. He blushed alittle. She smiled at him and disconnected their minds. "There now. Can we go back to training civily?" She asked them all. They then agreed that it would be for the best.
