Chapter 6 New Team/Family

When they arrived in the middle of the village they saw a man with black hair pulled up into a spikey pony tail and a younger man that looks identacle to him just younger.  They were arguing about something.  "Dad, come on it's a drag.  I mean how can a woman be a leader, let alone a whole villages leader."  "Watch it she is the leader now so we have to accept that and show some respect she is a sage after all." 

"A sage?"  Graywolf piped up.  The two looked at her and the older man smiled.  "You must be Graywolf.  My you look like your dad.  A sage is a ninja that is top of the class with special abilities.  Like your grandmother."  "My grandmother is a, sage?"  "Yes.  Oh where are my manners this is Satoshi (quick-witted) my son and I am Ryo (brightness)."  He held out his hand to her and she shook it.  "Graywolf, but you already knew that, this is my bonded Jamie, best friend Danny and my family.  Nice to meet you both."  She finished as she shook Satoshi's hand. 

"So your the new leaders Grandaughter hu?"  "Yeah, I guess."  "You guess?"  "Well I've never met her before.  Atleast I don't remember meeting her."  "Only once."  Graybutterfly said.  "Whatever." The young girl responded as she waved the woman off.  "Ah I see you both have finally arrived.  And you brought guests."  "They leave, I leave.  Just saying."   Graywolf said looking the blond woman dead in the eyes.  "My name is Nadina.  Your Grandmother.  And I see your situation.  I was not going to ask them to leave.  I was merely caught off gaurd is all."  Graywolf hummed in response.

Nadina stood in silence as she studied Graywolf.  In turn Graywolf studied her aswell.  She noticed that Nadina had piercing blue eyes and pale blond hair with fair skin.  'Graywolf, we are being watched.'  'Can you tell how many?'  'Four.'  'Got it.'  "You can tell your four friends to come on out.  They are making my bonded uncomfortable."  She said disregarding respect all together.  Nadina's jaw twitched with annoyance at her tone but whistled anyway. 

The next second for figures were flashing down from the trees.  All Graywolf could see at first were blurs of Silver, pink, yellow/orange, and blue/black.  When they were standing infront of her Nadina spoke again.  This is your new team..."  "Wait what?"  Jamie said stepping closer to Graywolf.  "Easy Jamie."  Graywolf said as she gripped his coat.  "First we have Hikashi, he will be the team leader."  "Yo."  She studied him and Nadina allowed her time to take in his appearance before continuing. 

He had silver hair, a dark colored long sleeve shirt and dark pants, he was also very pale and had blue eyes.  He seemed to be alittle bored by all of this which she couldn't really blame him.  She felt the same way about the situation.

She looked to Nadina to signal her to introduce the others.  "Next we have Haruka (spring flower).  Top of her class and an excellent ninja."  Haruka beamed with pride as she stood tall offering a hand to Graywolf.  Graywolf did take the hand of Haruka and shook it twice.  She then removed her hand from the girl and placed it on Jamie once more.  Again, Nadina allowed her time to look over Haruka as she had with Hikashi.  Haruka had pink hair, green eyes, and she was fair skinned.  She wore a green and pink outfit as well. 

Nadina then continued as she saw Graywolf was done studying Haruka.  "This here is the trouble maker of the village, Takeshi (Ferice Warrior).  A promising student if he stops being such a brat."  "Watch it Granny.  Hi Graywolf, glad to finally see you."  He said as he got real close to her.  She could hear Hot Head and Jamie growling.  She grabbed Jammie tighter and held her hand out behind her to signal for Hot Head to chill out.  The growling stopped but the tension stayed.

Takeshi had Blond hair with orange on the tips of it and blue eyes, and wore a black and orange jump suit.  He had a goofy grin on his face as he noticed Graywolf looking him over.  "Takashi back up you idiot."  Haruka said as she dragged him back making him fall on his butt.  "Lastly we have Takuke.  He is an exceptional student and from a very noble family.  He was also top of his class."  Graywolf looked him over and saw that he had black hair with red tips, dark eyes, and wore a dark blue outfit.  She stared a little longer at his eyes trying to determine if they were really black or if they were just a dark brown.

He made a tch sound and rolled his eyes.  "Good Lord Lady Nadina did you have to get another fan girl?"  Graywolf widened her eyes as she looked at him.  "Excuse me?"  "You heard me."  "I think I shouldn't have."  She told him annoyed.  "Graywolf."  Her human mother tried to get her attention away from Takuke but that was a no go.  "No, stay out of this Graybutterfly."  She said shutting up the woman and walking over to Takuke.  She stood before him as he gave her a bored look.  In turn she gave a fake sweet smile and she could just feel Jamie egging her on to do it.  So she did.  She slapped him right across the face.  He looked back at her in shock as did all the others besides the pack and Danny who were just snickering at the display that their little wolf pup had just shown.  "Now, why would I want a bratty, self centered jerk like you?"  She spat.

When he didn't respond she turned to Nadina.  "I'll except the team, but I will not live with him."  She said pointing at Takuke.  "Cause if I do I'll most likely kill him.  I will live with the pack but still be close enough so Hikashi can find me for whatever needs to be done.  That is all I have to say on the matter.  Now if you will excuse us we need to find a suitable den to call home outside the village." 

She started to walk away when Takuke found his voice.  "Why outside the village?"  She turned around to face him.  "Because Jerk, I don't want to be in the same village as you for one and for two, I don't trust the people in this village.  Some of them hunt wolves for sport and I will not have my family in that kind of barbaric danger.  Bye."  She said as she motioned for the pack and Danny to follow her. 

When they found a den they decided to talk about the situation with Takuke.  "Ugh he is such a jerk.  I mean why would I ever fan girl over that jack ass?"  "Mouth."  Aniow warned.  "Sorry mom.  It's just that guy really makes me mad.  'Oh no not another fangirl.'  Aaahhh.  I hate him!"  Jamie just laughed at his spot beside her.  "He was an arrogant boy wasn't he darling?"  Afiow said trying to hold in a chuckle.  "No kidding,  well I don't know about you guys but I'm tired.  Goodnight you guys."  With that she went to find a room in the cave to call her own.  She ended up finding a very nice one and settled in quickly.  Thankfully sleep found her almost instantly.
