Okay here is another chapter. Incase any of you missed it, WODS is on hold and will continue when this story ends. Working on Hallie and Ryan's sequel now.

"I'm sorry I put you in this mess." Kenzie said.

"What do you mean?" I asked her.

She sighed. "I mean causing problems with Ricky."

"Heh. You didn't cause any problem trust me. Don't worry about it." Kenzie

shifted on the porch. I stared up at the bare tree tops.

"So what's up with you and Alex?" Kenzie asked and I looked back down at

her.

"What do you mean? I told you everything that happened."

"Well you said you guys kissed a few times. It's obvious he likes you

too." She smiled at me. "So what would you say your relationship is?"

I thought about that for awhile. "I don't know really." I never even

thought about that. I did like him, we have kissed, it's clear he likes

me but I never thought about our relationship status.

"Well I say you've got that boy wrapped around your finger." My best

friend grinned at me. We both laughed and then sat in silence for a

bit.

The sound of a car driving by made me snap to attention. We normally

avoided being out front of the house so people who came out wouldn't see

us. Today though Kenzie and I didn't care. But a car coming by made me

look. It was not the car I wanted to see.

The car was a police car, driving slowly past the house, and after it

got a few feet past, it sped up and took off. My mouth hung open and I

looked at Kenzie. She didn't seem to really have noticed the car. "Did

you see that?"

"What?" she asked looking at me.

"The police car?" How could she have not noticed?

She blinked "Oh yea that." She didn't see it as a big deal!

"The police are investigating this house! They're suspicious!" I felt

sick now. The police knew something was going on and they were going to

find out.

"Chill out Lex! They won't find anything out. Just lie low for awhile and

they'll forget about it soon enough. They're so naive." I shook my head

staring at the ground. "What's wrong? Are you really afraid or something?

That you'll go to DH?" I turned to look at her again. "Oh. Don't worry.

It's going to be okay. They won't find out. We'll fix this."

"The cops drove by earlier." I said to Alex as we relaxed, sprawled out

on the couch. Everyone else had fallen asleep already.

"Oh yea?" He looked over at me but he didn't seem any more worried than

Kenzie had.

"You honestly don't think it's that big a deal." I really didn't make that

a question.

He glanced down at me and smiled. "Don't worry so much."

I gave a soft smile. Suddenly I really wanted to know the answer to the

question Kenzie asked me earlier. "Kenzie was being a goof earlier

and asked me what our relationship status is." I tried to sound casual

as I said it.

Alex nodded his head. "What did you tell her?"

"Well I told her I didn't know." I looked at him trying to read his

expression. I couldn't.

He just seemed to be thinking, so he didn't say anything. Then after

another minute or so he looked at me again and finally replied. "Well I

could tell you are relationship status but I don't know how." I let my

eyes fall. "But I could show you." He smiled before leaning forward and

kissing me. For some reason this didn't surprise me. I wanted to kiss

him and I did. I knew that I really did like him. I also knew that he

was the only one who wasn't on drugs, wouldn't hurt me, and really truly

did like me all at the same time.

Our kissing turned into a total make put session with him eventually on

top off me on the couch. For now eberything else was out of my mind and

I could care less who saw us right now.

Our little fun lasted awhile but eventually we stopped. Alex smiled at

me for a moment before asking, "Does that answer your question now?" I

nodded my head and kissed me again, so tenderly and sweet.

It was late now and I was tired. Tyler was asleep in the other bedroom

and Kenzie in mine. Ricky was of course not home. I really didn't want

to leave Alex's side anyways so we made up a bed of many blankets and

pillows in the center of the living room floor.

I snuggled up close beside Alex, resting my head against his shoulder,

and his arm around me. Listening to the sound of his gentle breathing,

I fell asleep.

Sorry this was a super short chapter. Just wanted an easy relaxed chapter with a little lovey alone time for out heroin and Alex. =)
