Sorry I haven't posted in like...well forever. I had a huge writers block. I still do as you may tell after reading this chapter because it kind of sucks, badly. Well I tried. I figured to get something up soon, before I lose you all. If I can't think of anything else, then the next chapter will be the last. Sorry guys, but it has to come to an end shortly. I think many of you may be like the ending, it satisfies both of you all whether you like Ricky or Alex better. Anywho, I won't tell you more, so here is the crap chapter.

This week in school was awkward. It was all dedicated to "Just say no" Which is against drugs. I felt so weird. I felt like every single poster on the wall was staring me down, and that I had let down all the encouraging teachers.

Kenzie even felt that way and she was barely brought into this. "This damn week is never going to end!" I wailed early Wednesday morning.

"I know..." Kenzie let out a sigh. We walked down the hall together. I glanced over to one of the Spanish classrooms out of the corner of my eye I saw Ricky talking to one of the Spanish teachers. I slowed down, trying to hear what they said.

"Yea, the school is doing a lot of work to promote Just say No. They really want to get the message out about drugs." The teacher was saying.

Ricky nodded his head. "Yea they're really bad. It's a good thing the school is stepping up to do something. I wouldn't ever do anything as stupid as that."

It took a ton of force to not turn and tell him off. Bull shit. That's what it was. Years ago I believed him when he said that, but not now. Not at all. He sooo would so something that stupid. For crying out loud he did. I scowled, and started walking faster again.

"Someone's in a bad mood today." Alex said walking up to me.

I rolled my eyes. "You're telling me."

"It's getting to you isn't it?" I nodded my head, leaning my head against my locker.

"I want this week to just be over." I groaned then stood up straight.

"Don't we all?" Alex grinned, trying his best to cheer me up. It was not working.

That weekend Kenzie came with me. As we all were driving down the road to the house, Kenzie and I were in a deep conversation about how retarded some of the people were around town, and you wouldn't believe it.

"I can't believe they didn't even realize it either! It's like how do you not realize that..." I stopped talking when I felt the car suddenly speed up. "Hey, what gives?" I looked out the window, we were on the street and racing past the house. I saw a cop car sitting in the rocky drive and two police men scoping around the area.

"What are they doing there?" Kenzie asked, her face pale and ghostly.

"Do you think someone called them?" I asked turning to look at the guys in the front.

"Probably. They might have noticed something odd going on there and had the pigs check it out." Tyler glanced back towards the house as he said this.

"But why wait so long?" It didn't make sense to me.

"Didn't think a thing of it before. Maybe just assumed we were relatives taking care of the house. Obviously they realized it didn't make sense for a bunch of teenagers to be house-sitting and had someone investigate. Stupid people, isn't that what you guys were just talking about?" Alex asked.

"Yea..." We ended up driving around for about another hour, just to make sure the police were long gone. I felt a sick feeling in my gut as I got out of the car. It certainly wasn't hard to get into a house this old. What if they found evidence we were here?
