2nd day of school

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Connor's POV ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I woke up at the sound of my alarm. I needed to get up, and I also want to arrive to school early. I want to know if I'm going to seat next to Evan. Somehow there's this force of gravity that's pulling me down and I'm feeling too lazy to go up.

Eventually I did wake up and prepare myself for the day. I went to the bathroom and did my morning routines. I got out of my room and went downstairs for breakfast. "Good Morning Connor." Mom said. "Good morning" I say lazily, I honestly never really say that much. So just saying it some times made my mom happy.

And somehow I have sudden urges to make other people happy for now...weird. Few minutes later Zoe came down as well. Dad was reading the newspaper sipping on his coffee. I just ate bread and bacon. I don't each much.

I arrived at school ready to start the day and meet up with Evan before class starts. I saw him in the halls talking to his...friend? I guess. His name is Jared. I'm not really close, nor rather fond with Jared. But I'm risking this just to see Evan. 

"Hey Connor! Love the new hair length, it's very school shooter chic." Jared said, Evan turning to see me. I just stared at him with a straight face that I can't hold because Evan's here. "It was a joke." Jared continued. I just stared at him. "Oh yeah I know it was funny I'm laughing can't you tell?" I say sarcastically. 

"You're such a freak." He says and goes to his classroom. Good thing he's not my classmate. I then saw Evan laugh and smile. It was the most adorable thing I ever saw. I can't help but smile with him. I walked over to him, thinking what to say to start a good conversation.

"What the f*ck are you laughing at?" I said smiling and jokingly. "N-nothing" Evan said smiling back. I placed an arm around his shoulder and we both began walking to our classrooms together.

After a few minutes of waiting for the teacher I didn't even realize that I was drawing Evan's adorable face on my sketch pad. She came inside and we greeted her. After a few discussions, she announced my problem and decided to ask some students to volunteer to take my seat while I seat in theirs.

Sadly, no one beside Evan volunteered but someone did on the 2nd person beside Evan. So I was a person away from him. Oh well...At least I'm closer to him. Evan looked at me and smiled, Guess he's happy I'm moved closer to him.

The class started, we didn't really have lessons yet. We only had orientation on the subjects and meeting new teachers with never ending ''introduce yourself''. I am dying! At least Evan's keeping me alive.

The teacher was suddenly joking if someone has a boyfriend or girlfriend. "You have a girlfriend?" The teacher asked Evan. Of course he probably has, someone as cute as him should be taken already. And obviously he's straight. I mean look at him, he's...innocent.

"N-No ma'm..." Evan said smiling nervously,looking down at the floor. "Boyfriend?" The teacher asked. She loves to be weird some times but it's fine. It was really funny actually, let's just hope Evan's not homophobic. Because if he is I'll be very sad...

"Oh..Well...Uhm...You know...Uhm...Yes?" Evan said smiling and blushing mad. I am now angry and jealous...WHO IS THAT GUY THAT COULD'VE TAKEN MY EVAN! HE'S MINE!!! Ok he's not mine YET! but still!!!

The teacher laughed, but not in a bad way. "Really?" She asked. "Well...He doesn't know yet." Evan said the class laughing with him. I sighed in relief, it was just a crush...good. I gotta find out who this 'crush' is and...Well, I guess accept that Evan would never like me...

After class we both walked to the cafeteria to eat our recess. The only problem is it's really noisy in here. I can't hear what Evan is trying to say, he's talking about trees obviously. Even though to some you might find it boring, just listening to him talk is enough.

"You wanna go somewhere private? It's really hard to talk here honestly." I said, kinda shouting to make sure Evan heard me. He nodded and thought of a place. "Outside? T-there are plenty of trees there and it's o-only 2 of u-us." Evan said with a blush that is adorable. 

"Sure" I said as we walked out. We both sat on a branch with a shady tree so it won't be too hot. "So...You have a boyfriend huh?" I said jokingly he immediately blushed, it kinda hurts seeing your now just 'new' crush liking another person.

"Well...yeah, sorry you might think I'm weird for liking a guy..." Evan said looking down. "Oh no no don't apologize it's fine really, I'm gay if that makes you feel better." He looked at me and made a sigh of relief.

I moved closer to him. "So...Who is he?" I asked trying my best to smile and prepare for the worst.

Holy Fern, is he actually asking me? What if he'll hate me? What if our friendship would be ruined? Great I love my first friend, and he'll probably don't want to hang out anymore. I can't do this. "I...You see...I...it's...a secret..." I just say, I WOULD NEVER Say who he is...

"Oh.." He replied with a look of disappointment. "Can you at least describe him?" Oh Pine. "Uhm..." I Blushed as I looked at Connor, It's easy to describe him if he's literally here beside me. "H-he's s-someone w-who makes me s-smile every time I s-see h-him... H-he's been my crush s-since 3rd g-grade when h-he b-became m-my classmate for t-the first time-e...There's really many more, But I feel like it's going to take me forever to talk about it."

That was honestly true. He's just too much to talk about, I mean he's not perfect because nobody is. But I still love him, even with his flaws. He's just...Him...and that's enough.

"Wow...." He looked down. Did I say something that made him upset? "Why so sad?" I asked him. "I...like someone too, and he doesn't like me back." I stared at him in shock... He likes someone... "Well...Me too." I said as I rubbed his back comforting him. 

"What?" He said almost falling off the branch."Why? I mean I know that I have no chance." I said knowing that I really don't how could Connor actually like me back? "What? Evan no! You have a chance, You are amazing, Your smile can make everyone smile even the people who doesn't know how to..Like me..." What-Did-He-Just-Say???

"You're adorable, you have the most softest hair. You're the only person that actually agreed to be my friend and wasn't really afraid to give me a shot...You accepted me for me, someone who never really does." He hugs me, I hear sniffing.

"Whoever that person who doesn't like you back doesn't deserve your love." He whispered to my ear. That actually really makes me really feel better and I start to tear up, with tears of joy. "Your making it hard not to fall in love with you." I sai- Oh my Gosh what did I say?

"What?" He said letting me go and looking at me straight in the eyes. "Nothing..." I said looking anywhere that's not him. "Y-you mean that?" He said, I nodded preparing for a rejection and- He held my face and leaned forward.

He...HOLY FERN WHAT IS HE DOING? GRAH HE'S KISSING ME WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAAAT? HECKING SPRUCE PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS? WHAT IS GOING ON? WHAT THE ACTUAL TREE??? He parted away and looked at me "I love you too."

I was about to pass out. He said what? I was suddenly unable to speak and just stared at him. He laughed, and hugged me. I started to tear up with tears of joy even more.I hugged him real tight not wanting to let go. 

This school year is going to be the best year of my entire life.
