Connor heard his phone ring. He was busy surfing the net on his computer and was lazy enough to check who's on the phone. After a few rings he decided that it might be important and just answer it. It was his boyfriend, Evan.

"Heyo!"Connor said with hearts in his eyes. "Hi! Happy Father's day!" Evan replied. "OH MY GOD EVAN YOUR PREGNANT?!" Connor screamed. No body else was in the house so he was free to do whatever.

"WHAT? NO!" Evan laughed on the other line. "I was just saying that to remind you. Have you done something for your dad yet?" Evan continued.

"No...Why should I? It's not like he considers me as his son." It was right. Larry was really upset when he heard that his son and Evan are together.

"But he is still your dad, am I right?" Even though Evan's father left. He always reminded Connor that he's still lucky to have a dad. "Yes but~" "No buts! I'm coming over." There was no way Connor would try to argue with that. He loved Evan's presence.

A few minuted later Evan knocked on the door. Connor ran downstairs to open it. "Heeeeeeey." he said a little nervous.

"H-hi" Evan stuttered. He was very confident on the phone because he didn't have to see Connor's amazing face. It made Evan stutter whenever he was really talking to him in real life.

After few hours of planning on what to do. Someone knocked on the door. It was probably Cynthia and Larry from their father's day date.

Evan was kind enough to open the door for them. Since Connor was too afraid to even show up to his dad. "Oh hi Evan! Is Connor still here? He better not be out again." Cynthia said.

"I m-made it a-absolutely s-sure that he s-stays h-home Mrs. Murphy." Evan replied. Larry was just there giving a death glare at Evan. They both walked inside. Connor was still in his room hyperventilating. Evan ran upstairs to comfort him.

"It's going to be okay, you don't need to panic. It's just your father. He won't hurt you for showing how much you love him." Evan said.

"But, What if *hic* he doesn't like it and t-throw it away?" Connor asked in between sobs. He never wanted to face rejection again. The first time he had to face rejection, was his own boyfriend rejecting his feelings at first, because Evan wasn't ready for relationship.

"I'm sure he'll love whatever you give him. He's your dad after all. If he doesn't then that's his problem, at least you tried your best." Evan rubbed his back hugging him tightly, reassuring everything is fine.

"I love you Evan." Connor said softly on his boyfriend's shoulder. Evan blushed. "I love you too." He said as he hugged him tighter. "Ready?" He asked. Connor nodded in response.

They walked downstairs slowly, Connor still hesitating a little. They reached downstairs seeing Larry watching T.V. He was watching 'walking dead' for some reason, who knows why.

"D-dad?" Connor said stuttering. He didn't look up so Evan tapped his shoulder. "Uhmm, Mr.Murphy?"

"What do you want fag." ( I hate this word...Sorry but I had to. ) Larry said, obviously mad at Evan.

"Y-Your son w-wants to t-tell you s-something." Evan said as he slowly made Connor walk up to him. Larry sighed and looked at his son. He noticed he had been crying a lot. "What do you want?" He said in annoyance.

There was silence at first. Connor was just looking at his father's eyes. He looked at Evan for reassurance. He gave him a 'you can do this' look, which made him more confident.

"H-happy Father's day dad...I'm sorry I'm not the son that you wanted me to be. I know I'm not perfect, I know I do a lot of things that you don't want me to do. I know you hate me....but I love you dad..." Connor said as he handed his dad a baseball glove, and a ball.

"You wanna play catch?" He continued. Larry just looked at him. He didn't know how to feel. Yes, he hated his son. But either way he is still his son no matter what. He looked down, his eyes almost in tears.

"I...I don't know what to say..." He said, He slowly stood up to where Connor was and held his shoulders. "I...I'm sorry son. I know it's been rough between us for the past few years and I've been...Mean...To you...I just want the best for you."

They both couldn't control their tears. Larry couldn't even finished his sentence. "I was a terrible father, I wasn't there to be your hero. I did some things that made you upset as well. But please know that......I love you too son." They sobbed in tears of joy. He hugged his son tight.

Evan just stood there, crying as well. He decided to go steps back for a moment not to ruin the moment. Zoe opened the door, he told her to be quiet and not ruin the moment. She was very surprised by the scene before her. She went up to her room upstairs so she won't disturb anything.

After a few minutes of just standing there hugging each other, they finally pulled out. They were still in tears. "Now, Let's go play catch?" Larry asked. Connor smiled so wide and nodded really fast.

He then saw Evan crying on the stairs. "Evan! Are you ok?" Connor asked as he tried to comfort him. "I-I'm f-fine *hic* Th-that was so adorable. I-I told y-you so!" Evan said smiling. "Thank you Evan, I'll make it up to you I promise. For now I'm going to have some quality time with my dad." He said as he followed his dad outside.

Evan was watching in the window. He watched them play, It was fun seeing the two finally getting along. Cynthia walked to the living room from the kitchen, expecting Larry to be there.

"Hmm, Evan? Have you seen Larry?" She asked turning to Evan. She noticed how red Evan's eyes were. "Oh honey, what happened? Did he do something to you? Should I call the police? Is everything alright?! were's Connor?!" She asked worriedly.

"Oh no Mrs.Murphy him and Mr.Murphy's fine. It's honestly, more than fine. See." He said as he pointed to the window where she can see the two bonding. "Whoa, what happened? Are you sure that's Larry?" Cynthia asked, not believing what she's seeing.

"Yes, they're having a good time. Finally..." He stared back at them not wanting to take his eyes off the scene. "Well, whatever happened that's a good thing. I can't wait for a really good explanation." She said as she walked to the kitchen again.

After a few hours of enjoying their time they decided to go back inside. It was getting a little late. They went inside smelling the food from the kitchen. Suddenly,Larry forgot something. He turned to Evan.

Evan was scared for a second, he thought he was going to do something bad. He closed his eyes ready for the worst. Then...He felt someone hug him. "Thank you Evan." Was all he said. "Don't mention it sir. I'm glad you and your son are okay." He replied smiling and hugging him back. "You've changed him. You brought my son back to me, you are truly perfect for my son." He replied.

"Dinner time!" Cynthia called. They pulled away smiling. Connor walked towards Evan putting an arm around his shoulder. "So, How was father and son time?" He asked. "The best! I wish we could've done that everyday. Thank you again Evan." He said. "Don't thank m-me Connor, Y-you did all the w-work." He replied, they both walked to the dinner table.

Connor and Evan sat next to each other. To Connor's other side, was Larry who was overjoyed.

They had the best dinner time.
