~Evan's POV~

I was listening carefully in class, It was nice listening to the teacher from time to time. It helps you pass the subject. I was scribbling down on my notebooks for my notes. Then my teacher said something that really caught my attention.

"As we can see from this verse, genuine love is really something that can never die, but romantic love can die easily." She explained. I stopped writing on my notebook and decided to concentrate as to what she was saying.

"Example, you have...A boyfriend or girlfriend." She continued.

"Some times, for girls if you have pimples, you will easily feel ugly. Then your boyfriend will maybe be distant or break up with you, because he thinks you're ugly now." If I had someone I will never ever leave them, just because they're ugly. 

I will still love them no matter what. Even thought it will some times hurt, I can take it. Even though i know that person might not even like me back...I can risk it...

"Or if you have a girlfriend. If you won' reply to her for like 5 mins. into the conversation she will think like you don't love them anymore, and would probably get mad at you for not replying, which causes her to break up with you." I would reply as fast as I can. My crush would even probably think I'm weird cuz I would reply too much.

"But 'genuine' love? You really love them, even with their flaws. Like how your mother or father loves you even if you did something bad." 

The person I love does a lot of bad things...But either way I still love 'em...

"And mostly, You love them for who they are...Good or bad. You love them because they're them. And that's the true meaning of genuine love." 

I blushed hard. Because I realized I was thinking about Connor Murphy the whole time... The bell finally rang for break time. I prepared my stuff, and head out after saying 'goodbye' to the teacher.

I went out and met with my 'family friend' Jared. We both walked into the cafeteria to eat, when I saw the person who always made me so nervous...Connor...

"Eyy look! It's your boy friend." Jared said teasing me again. "H-he's not my boy friend...We're not even close...But...I think he is?" What am I saying?

"Really?" he replied. I decided to make a joke out of this. "Y-yeah, He's my boy friend..But with one problem." I said.

"And what is that?" He asked. "He doesn't know it yet." I chuckle. He laughed so hard. Somehow it got Connor's attention and he made his way over to us, I couldn't control the red in my face.

"Oh hey guys, My sister just made me sit here with you...It's a dare..." He explained. We both just nodded. He sat down in front of me, fidgeting with his hand. "Well...I guess this is not part of the dare, but I would like to...Uhm..You know...I would like..To.." He looked into my eyes. I looked into his, realizing how amazing his eyes were.

"To..Take this...O-opportunity...To.." He leaned forward, inches from my face. I can't even imagine how red my face is by now. "I...Like...you...?" He whispered. I just stared at him, my brain processing everything he just said.

...Wait...What?

"What?" I asked. "I like you...Evan Hansen." Jared's eyes grew wide. I couldn't speak, I just leaned forward and kissed him. WHAT AM I DOING? AND WHY IS HE KISSING BACK? THIS IS A DREAM!

YEP ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE DREAMS. THIS IS NORMAL IN MY DREAMS. I slowly pull away, because:

1.I needed air.

2.It was slow because I wanted to savoir the moment.

3. I wanted to see his face.

I saw him smile, that smile can light up my whole world.
