This kinda looks like Katelyn, right? RIGHT?? (Btw, it's not related to the story. I just needed to add something at the top or else it won't feel complete, hehe!~)

Your POV

"Okay, class! Today, we'll do some simple yoga, then we can vote on a game to play after!" the gym teacher tells us.

We all nod our heads and run to the change-rooms to put on our gym uniforms.

I quickly slip off my clothes and pull on the uniform. I pull my hair back into twin tails (Unless you have short hair) and run out of the small room.

"Hey, (Y/n)!" I turn my head to see Katelyn and smile.

"Katelyn! I didn't know you were in my class!" I say, surprised that someone I knew was actually in my class.

She shrugs. "I just got transferred into this class. Principal Layla keeps changing students schedule, but I'm glad you're here," I smile and nod, running to the wall to grab a mat.

I pull it off of the walk, but end up tripping over something and fall backwards, with the mat on top of me. "Oh! Sorry, (Y/n)!" Katelyn says. I could practically hear the sarcasm in her voice. "My foot slipped."

I groan and get up. I shoot her a look before grabbing the mat and throwing it at her. She swiftly ducks and grabs it, ready to throw it back at me.

Katelyn's POV

"Die, (Y/n)!" I joke, and get ready to throw the mat back at her. Just as I'm about to let go, the teacher blows the whistle.

"Okay, class! Get your mats and sit down!"

(Y/n) smiles and runs to the other end of the gym, grabbing another mat and sitting down next to the teacher. I roll my eyes and sit down on her old mat.

We do some stretches, a lot of which (Y/n) falls over in a tangled heap and which I always laugh at her clumsiness.

"Now, we greet the sun to finish this lesson," the teacher said. She brought her hands up into the air, then slowly lowered them to her side. "Like that."

"But, shouldn't it be saying farewell to the sun since it's the-"

"Shush. It's my lesson," she sasses. The class laughs as (Y/n) gives a small pout.

The teacher claps her hands. "Alright, now it's time for games!" A few of us cheer while some groan, with (Y/n) and I being on the cheering side.

"Dodgeball!" one student shouts.

"What about bench?" another suggests.

"That's stupid!" someone argues.

"You're stupid!" they lash back.

A high-pitched whistle echoes around the hollow gymnasium before the teacher removes her fingers from her mouth.

"Enough!" All the students stop talking and pay attention. "We have dodgeball and bench. Is there any other suggestions?"

I raise my hand. "Buzz ball."

She nods. "Okay, Miss Katelyn. Who wants dodgeball?" About seven students raise their hands. "Bench?" Only a few people raise their hands. "That leaves buzz ball," the rest of the class raises their hands. 'Majority wins!~' I muse in my head.

The teacher disappears into the storage room and returns with seven foam balls. "Here we go!" she shouted enthusiastically, then proceeds to throw the balls in her hand to the other side of the gym.

Me and a few students scramble to grab  one, and I grab a smallish purple one since we weren't allowed two at a time. I quickly whip it at a student in front of me, hitting him in the back.

I snicker as he sinks to the floor with a look of defeat on his face. Suddenly, he smiles and shouts, "Get Katelyn!" A few dozen heads turn towards me, and I smirk.

A few of them throw their balls at me, but I flawlessly dodge all of them and catch one, getting one of them out. She sheepishly sits on the floor with a shy smile.

I mouth an apology before whipping it at another student, it bouncing off of him and hitting another in the arm. I do a silent dance as I look at the four defeated students.

A few minutes later and it's just me and (Y/n) now.

"You can do it, (Y/n)!"

"Get her out!"

"Save us!"

I roll my eyes. "Gee, thanks for the encouragement," I say to myself.

(Y/n) looks around before bending down to grab a ball. She brings her arm back to throw at me, but I swiftly throw one at her instead.

A small scream escapes her mouth as she drops to the ground, the ball barely missing her head.

"Aw, I missed!" I grab another one from off the floor. "That's okay, though," I whisper.

If you couldn't tell yet, I can get quite intense when it comes to winning.

"Prepare to-" something hits my foot, and I look around to see (Y/n) smiling ear-to-ear. The rest of the class cheers and stands up as I fall to the ground, being as dramatic as I could be.

I stretch out my arms and legs, almost tripping a few people, and smile.

'Well done. I've been defeated, once again by the one and only (Y/n).' I laugh and look at (Y/n). She's smiling, and waves at me and mouths an apology. I mouth, 'it's okay' and smile even wider.

'Maybe the real her is coming back.' I sit up and cross my legs, briefly observing the other students crash and fall.

'I hope that's what it is.'

---------

Hey, I'm back! This was more of a filler chapter, so not much went on. Basically, Reader~Chan was pretty competitive, and usually beat Katelyn at games like that.

On the contrary, Katelyn is still more athletically inclined, as in she can run faster, has more endurance, etc.

By the way, buzz ball is basically an "everyone is it" game. You can't have two balls at the same time, and if you get hit, you're down. You can only get up once the person who got you out is down. It keeps going until either everyone's out or the teacher ends the game.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter!

Myū, out!
