Your POV
I open my eyes, seeing wires and hearing that annoying beeping. 'Really... I'm back here again?' I sit up and look around. Blaze is asleep on the chair next to me. I smile and ruffle his hair.
"Hey, wake up," I say. He snores in response. I sigh and push him off his chair.
"Hey!" Blaze shouts from the ground.
"Mornin', sleeping beauty," I tease.
He begrudgingly gets back on the chair. "How're you feeling?"
I sigh and fall back onto the bed. "Bad. I'm tired of this..."
"Well, I'll always be here to protect you!" Blaze says with a smile.
"When this is all over, I want my sanity back," I mutter.
"What sanity?" I pull a pillow out from underneath my head and whip it at him.
"Ow! I'm sorry!" Blaze laughs.
"No, you're not." I pout.
Blaze kisses me on the cheek. "Love you, too, babe." I feel my cheeks heat up and I hide my face in my hands. "Don't hide, I wanna see your beautiful face!"
"S-Shut up!"
...Time Skip...
"You've healed incredibly fast, especially after being shot, Miss (Y/n)," the nurse says to me while changing the blankets.
"Do you know when I'll be discharged?" I ask eagerly. I couldn't wait to get out of here.
She purses her lips. "Latest tomorrow, I think you're almost ready to go."
"Thank Irene," I mumble and lie back down. The nurse gives me one last look-over before leaving the room.
My phone starts ringing. I pick it up from the table beside me and hold it up to my ear.
"Hello?"
"Are you Blaze's girlfriend?" A very young voice asks.
"Uh..." I hold the phone away from my ear as someone yells on the other side.
"Give me back my phone, Michael!"
A lot of giggling is followed by a loud crash. Then more giggling and something breaking. "Sorry, my cousin got to my phone. I'll hang up now," Blaze says breathlessly.
"Don't hang up!" I shout.
"(Y/n)?" I can hear the excitement in his voice.
I laugh. "Hey, Blaze. Michael sounds fun," I tease.
I can hear him pout. "I almost fell down the stairs." I know I was supposed to be comforting, but I just laugh instead.
"Miss (L/n)?" A nurse pops her head through the open doorway.
"Yes?" I ask politely, putting the phone to my chest.
"You're allowed to leave now, just... please be more careful next time."
I nod. "I will!" The nurse smiles and leaves.
"Hey, can I come over? I was just discharged and I have nothing better to do," I ask.
"Sure!" I can hear the smile in his voice. "I'll do my best to clean up the mess we made..." his voice trails off.
"Okay, I'll be right over!" I hang up the phone.
I spot a pile of clothes that were left on the table beside me. I smile. 'Blaze is truly amazing.'
I pull off the hospital gown and change into the clothes Blaze left for me, which was a (f/c) sweatshirt and black leggings.
I run out of the hospital and call for a cab. I didn't have a car, let alone a drivers' license, but I luckily had my wallet on me. Blaze had told me his address before, so I arrive shortly after telling the driver where to go.
I quickly pay them and run up to the door.
The door opens before I can knock. "(Y/n)!" Blaze says breathlessly.
I laugh and raise an eyebrow. "How'd you know I was here?"
A light blush tints his face. "Uh... I can smell you," he says reluctantly.
"Oh..." I hesitate. "What do I smell like?"
A smile appears on his face. "Like happiness and love!"
We both laugh before I walk in and he closes the door behind me.
I look down the hall to see a very small, little person. "Well, hello there!" I say and kneel down.
The boy runs up to me. "Are you (Y/n)?" I look up to Blaze. "Blaze's has told me so much about you!"
"Really? What'd he say about me?"
"He said that-"
"OKAY! THAT'S ENOUGH, MICHAEL!" Blaze interrupts, muffling Michael's voice with his palm. "Why don't you go back to Fortnite? I think your friends are calling you," he suggests.
"Okay!" Michael runs back down the hall.
"Fortnite?" I give him a puzzled look.
"It's a game that I like to play. I let Michael play it when he comes over," he explains.
"Ah.. that makes sense."
"Well, come in!" Blaze gestures for me to follow him. I take off my shoes, but before I take a step my phone dings.
'A text?'
I open my phone. I almost drop it.
I'm quite surprised that you're still alive. You've escaped the past few times, and it's such a shame we have to get rid of you. You'd be a great asset to our family. Sadly, you have to go. You don't seem to realize...
I'll get you in the end.

YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW HAPPY I AM TO HAVE THE MOTIVATION TO WRITE AGAIN!!
I've been MIA for way too long, almost a full month... I'm really sorry about that, but I really didn't feel like failing assignments. Too much stress.
I actually got this chapter finished a lot sooner than I had thought. Since I got a little motivation back, I'll do my best to update ASAP!
