{19} Won't Say I'm In Love

Aphmau's POV

"Hey, guys!" I plop myself down at the table that my friends were sitting at.

"Hey, Alpha!" Dottie, Rylan, and Daniel greet.

"Hey, Aph." Katelyn waves before focusing on her sandwich.

"What took you so long, Aphmau~Senpai?" One of Kawaii~Chan's ears fold down and I giggle at her cuteness.

"Just got held back. Where's (Y/n), Lucinda, Teony, and Blaze?" I look around for any of them, but I don't see them anywhere.

"Lucinda's schedule got changed, again, and Teony's helping some of the freshmen," Katelyn explains.

"Ah... what about (Y/n)~Chan and Blaze~Kun?" Kawaii~Chan asks.

Dottie snorts and Daniel bangs his head onto the table in laughter.

"I haven't seen either of them today, now that I think about it..." I tap my chin in thought.

Katelyn gasps. "You don't think-"

"Katelyn~Sama!" Kawaii~Chan hits Katelyn upside the head. "Don't think stuff like that!"

"What the heck? It was just a guess! If you don't like my ideas, then what do you think happened?"

Kawaii~Chan's eyes light up. "SHIPSSSSSS!!" she shouts into Katelyn's face.

Katelyn groans and rests her face on the table. "I hope they don't plan to miss the rest of school."

Blaze's POV

I stumble down the hall while pulling on my uniform. "BLAZE, HURRY UP!"

"I'M COMING!" I shout back. I jump onto the banister and slide down on my stomach. I flip off at the end and land on my feet. "Yes! I-" A bag is flung at my face, throwing me off balance, and I fall backward.

"Your bag! Hurry!" (Y/n) pulls me to my feet and shoves a piece of bread into my mouth and my bag into my arms.

"Okay, okay!" She grabs my hand and pulls me out the door.

(Y/n)'s (h/c) hair sticks up in some parts and her uniform's a little wrinkled, but she still looks beautiful. I feel my cheeks heat up. '(Y/n)'s perfect in every way...'

"Snap out of it!" I blink as she pokes my nose. "We're so late! We're going to miss the whole day; we can't walk all the way there!"

I grin to myself and let go of her hand. She turns around. "Why'd you-" I grab her wrists and fling her around so that I can put (Y/n) on my back. I lock her hands together around my neck and lift her legs around my waist.

"To school, we go!" I start running and she laughs.

"You're such an idiot~!" (Y/n) teases. I feign hurt and growl playfully. She laughs and rests her chin on my head.

'I'll be your idiot, forever, if you'll let me.'

Your POV

"You have both missed four periods out of five today. Is there a specific reason why?" Principal Layla asks and folds her hands on her desk.

"We just overslept, ma'am, and-"

Principal Layla sighs. "You will both have detention for three days after school. This is a minimal punishment since you, (Y/n), have a clean record, but it's three days because you, Blaze, do not have a clean record. There are many reports on broken windows and injured students."
