{22} Should Have

Blaze's POV

I had to kiss her. She couldn't forget me. I needed (Y/n) in my life.

I pour my soul into the kiss and smile. 'If only you'd remember this...'

I break the kiss and stare into (Y/n)'s eyes. I tuck her hair behind her ear and hold her cheek in my hand. Someone starts to blast music and we get crowded by other people who push their way onto the dance floor. I lean closer to (Y/n) so she can hear me.

"I'm sorry..." I whisper. "I needed to show you how I feel before you forget me."

(Y/n) lets out a small laugh and raises her hand to pat my head. "Silly Blaze... I could never forget you... though, I kept forgetting to tell you that I'm better now! I'm all fixed!

I drop my smile. "You're not mad?"

"I could never be mad at you," (Y/n) says. "I lo-"

"(Y/n)!" Lucinda grabs (Y/n) and spins her around. "Let's partyy~!"

(Y/n) laughs and mouthes an apology. "I'll tell you later!" she shouts before she disappears with Lucinda in the crowd.

I stare at the space her body was a moment ago. I gingerly touch my lips and sigh. 'I can't believe I just did that.'

Your POV

"I can't believe Blaze kissed you! Oh, it was so romantic!" Lucinda pretends to swoon and I blush.

I sigh. "I... can't believe he likes me..."

"Oh, no, honey," Lucinda smirks. "He loves you."

My heart stops. "He--Wh-WHAT!?" I squeak and hide my face in my hands. Lucinda laughs and bumps her hips against mine as she continues dancing.

"Bye, sweetie!" Lucinda waves and squeezes her way through the crowd.

I snap out of my trance and run after her. "Lucinda, get back here! He 'loves' me!? LUCINDA!"

Katelyn's POV

"Katelyn, calm down, it was just a kiss!" Aphmau says and rubs my arm.

"'Just a kiss'? 'JUST A KISS'!? HE LITERALLY DECLARED HIS LOVE FOR HER IN FRONT OF EVERYONE!" I yell.

"Katelyn~Sama!" Kawaii~Chan grabs my arm. "If you mess up my ship, Kawaii~Chan will unleash a thousand burned cookies upon the tastebuds that belong to you!" she threatens.

I laugh. "Whoah, Kawaii~Chan, calm down. I won't do anything if you don't do anything to my cookies."

Kawaii~Chan holds out her hand and I shake it. "But, Blaze better not hurt (Y/n), or else he and your ship are dead."

3rd Person POV

The female's breath is ragged as she stands up. "Is everything ready?"

"It is." The short answer from the male sends a chill down her spine.

"Do not worry, my assistant and I have everything under control. She will be eliminated tonight, we'll make sure of it."

The superior man stands up and crosses the room. "Do not fail me. You remember what happened to the last person that failed to please me," he sends a grin towards her. "Right?"

The female nods. "I understand, sir."

"Good." The door slams shut behind him. The female crouches down onto the ground and grasps her hair in her hands. 'I must not fail. I mustn't fail.'
