CHAPTER ONE
"Good morning, Jisoo and Jisoo's mother!" Jin chirped as he stepped foot into his neighbour's house. "I brought breakfast for you guys from the nearby coffeeshop."
Seoyoung, who was in her office room gathering all her paperwork for work at that time, had managed to climb down the stairs hastily to thank him.
"Oh, how thoughtful of you!" Seoyoung claimed gratefully before asking, "When did you find the time to go to the coffeeshop? School is about to start."
"I went for a morning jog. I've been trying to get accustomed to the routine again since the football season is about to begin," Jin explained. "Speaking of which, where is Jisoo?"
Seoyoung rolled her eyes playfully and replied, "You know how she is."
Jin had thought that Jisoo was still sleeping. So without wasting time, he went ahead to her bedroom and slammed the door open with his mouth wide open, already prepared to scream at the girl so that she would wake up from her deep slumber.
But when he saw the scene in front of him, all the words that he had been planning to say stayed frozen at the tip of his tongue.
Jisoo was twerking right in front of her mirror to the song Fantastic Baby, which was currently the music trend during that period of time.
Jin inwardly sighed. What was he going to do with this girl?
"Jisoo, stop trying to twerk," he said with a straight face. "You don't have an ass, so you're doing it the wrong way."
Jisoo stared at Jin with an innocent look, still in her twerking position and her lips sealed shut from embarassment.
"If you want to know the right way of doing it, then pay attention to me."
The moment Jin started shaking his ass back and forth, Jisoo's face turned expressionless. She crossed her arms with her eyebrows raised upwards, her stance back to a normal position and her gaze still on the boy as she wondered what in the world he was trying to prove.
"Yah, Kim Seokjin! You're all over the place." Jisoo shook her head.
"No, I'm by the mirror," he replied, a cheeky grin forming upon his lips as he waited for Jisoo to laugh.
Jisoo stared at him. Jin returned the look, a bubble of laughter from his own stomach threatening to be released. "Stop being lame, would you? We're already eighteen. It's embarassing. Without me you'd probably be friendless."
"Ani, I wouldn't be friendless," Seokjin grinned as he convinced himself. "Not without these good looks the lord has blessed me with."
Jisoo scoffed and mumbled as she drew her eyebrows, "Egoistical bastard."
