CHAPTER TWO
Jisoo frequently visited the library whenever she had to study. The habit only started recently this year. She tried to study a few times at home, but her concentration would always be disturbed by the ruckus caused by the group of boys next door. Jin usually brought his friends over almost everyday and needless to say, it contributed to the noise pollution.
Jisoo was about to head off to the local library after she got home to grab her books and make herself look presentable, until she heard her name being shouted from somewhere nearby. She looked around and squinted her eyes, but only found Hoseok waving at her enthusiastically from Jin's windowsill. She smiled at him and moved her eyes further downwards until it met with another pair of chestnut brown eyes who was currently located in the middle of his backyard.
"Where are you going?" he asked Jisoo, a hint of curiousity and slight demand laced in between his words.
"The library to study because you guys are too boisterous."
Jin eased up at once after knowing, then looked at Jisoo petulantly. "You should have asked me to accompany you, I could've taught you whatever you didn't know. We could reenact the scenes where stuff happens between teachers and students," Jin wiggled his eyebrows up and down and looked at her provocatively, "unless," he dramatically paused with his eyes widened, "you're already bringing someone else to do it with you?"
Jisoo had once again, rolled her eyes at Jin's stupid claims. "I'm going alone, you pabo. Now bye, I have to hurry before all the seats get booked."
Without waiting for his reply, Jisoo had scurried off. She genuinely did not want all of the seats to be taken up, especially by middle schoolers who only sit at the desks to play their games using the free wifi provided in the library.
Friday came no sooner than later. After a complete weekday scheduled with mountains of homework and tests to study for, Jisoo finally found herself at rest.
Jin on the other hand, remained relaxed the whole time. He didn't need to study. He was already blessed with an intelligent brain since he was little. Jisoo huffed in exhaustion as she thought about how unfair her life was as compared to Jin. Football captain, straight A's, good looks, what more could he possibly be capable of?
Jisoo slammed her locker door shut, the dark circles under her eyes appearing prominent. She struggled to bring her bag onto her shoulders while juggling the stack of textbooks on her arms.
"You look like shit," Jin stated as he magically appeared alongside Jisoo. It wasn't magically, really. Jin had just finished his classes too and saw Jisoo walking off like a zombie. "Be happy a little, a week of hell is over. You can look forward to the weekend, now."
