*Two weeks later*
It had been two weeks since Juliana and I had had our big blowup. There was still no apology from her. In fact, I didn't even know if she was still alive. Although, now that I think about it, Aunt Grace probably would have let me know if Juliana had died.
Gabby was really starting to become a good friend. I had been talking back and forth with her quite a bit. It was reminding me of why exactly she and I had been such great friends before. It was nice just having a friend. Like, with Gabby, every move I made didn't feel as pressured.
In other words, it was now less than five days till Signing Day and Valentine's Day was only a week away. I still didn't have any idea whatsoever as to who I was going to sign with officially for college, but I was leaning towards Alabama heavily.
I mean, I had always been a big Alabama fan since that's where my parents went and everything.
I was sitting on the couch surfing through the channels when my little sister came and plopped down beside me.
"What do you want, Tyla?"
"What's up with you and Jules?" She asked straight out, no beating around the bush was involved.
"Why do you care?"
"Well, for one thing, she hasn't been around. You haven't talked about her much, so I was just wondering what was up is all... You guys are one of my one true pairs. Y'all are perfect and so cute together."
"Um. Well. You're gonna have to get over it."
"How come?"
"Because we had a huge fight."
"So... when do you plan on apologizing?"
"Who said it was my fault?" I asked, defensively.
"Oh, come on, Robbie. It's almost always your fault."
"Go away, Tyla."
"Fine. I suppose I'll have to go talk with Juliana. Bye loser."

"Thanks for inviting me out to dinner," Gabby smiled, picking up her fork to eat some of garden salad with a dressing clump in the middle.
"Yeah, of course. You've been really helpful these last few days with everything. I figured I owed ya something." I winked at her.
Gabby just smiled, giggled, and shrugged her shoulders. "No problem. Relationships kinda fascinate me, so you're fine."
"Yeah. Well, through my past two relationships, I've come to realize that they suck."
"Maybe you've just picked the wrong girls? I mean, you seem like a really great guy."
"Thanks." I smiled. "Haven't heard that in awhile. But honestly, I think it's just relationships in general... they suck."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, see, they work for like a good amount of time, but then, you have a fight and it's like World War III."
"You can't just give up like that though, Robbie. That's silly!"
"I can't allow myself to be abused either. I just quit at all relationships. They suck."
