I slam the office door shut.
"What as in that room that felt familiar, Hero?" Josh whispers, as though the gang might be outside the door. I look around the room and start ruffling through the open case files.
"Everything about it, Josh. From the bed set, to the torn wallpaper, it seemed like something I've seen before on multiple occasions." I scramble to the bottom of the files.
"Hero, if they were our birth parents than you probably did see that room on multiple occasions."
"Thanks Captain Obvious." I mumble into the papers. He sighs. "Josh, it felt like that room was apart of me. Like there's something in there that we need to find." I look up at him, our gaze locking.
"What are you suggesting?" He takes a cautious step towards me. I sigh and place my palms on my desk.
"I'm suggesting that we need to go back there." I look down at the desk.
"Are you kidding me?!" Josh scoffs. "That's a suicide mission! We go back there and we're all going to end up like Victor!" I turn and face him.
"Either you come willingly or you don't come at all." I state, getting into his face. I straighten and start for the door, bumping my shoulder against his.

"Hero, you're suggesting that we all go back to that hell hole, with a 90% chance of us dying." Anne comments. I cross my arms and look over in her direction.
"It's more of a 98.5% chance." Anne scoffs.
"Like that's any better!" I shake my head and look around the table.
"I'm not demanding that you all have to come. This is optional. I'm not going to let you come if you don't want to, considering the odds." I look at Anne directly. "I won't have the rest of you die too." She looks down at the table. After a few moments Tyler sighs.
"Well, I'm definitely not letting you go alone. I'm in." Ryder looks at his brother.
"If he's going, I'm going." Ryder announces. Josh turns his gaze to me.
"I just found out that I have a sister, and a new found boyfriend; I'm not going to let you guys walk into danger without me there too." I smile slightly. We all turn our attention to Anne. Her eyes widen from the sudden attention.
"I guess it'll look bad if I don't do this too, huh?" I shake my head.
"You don't ha-"
"Have to I know, I know. Except you guys are going to need a quick escape, as well as a genious." I raise my eyebrows as the boys scoffed.
"I'll have you know, that I happen to have a 4.0 IQ." Ryder states. Anne scoffs.
"I don't even need to go on this mission to die. I could just climb up his ego and jump to his IQ." She smirks. I roll my eyes as Ryder gasps dramatically.
"Calling you an idiot would be an insult to stupid people." Ryder fires. My eyes widen as I look at him. Before I can get out a word, Anne beets me to it.
"Really? I wear heels higher than your standards." Josh's mouth drops.
"Oh, you did not just mean me." Anne turns to him. I facepalm my forehead as the room goes into a big brawl full of cheesy insults.
"Guys." I state. When no one answers I take a deep breath and raise my voice. "Guys!" I shriek. All heads snap their attention to me.
"Anne, are you or are you not, being apart of this mission?" I question. She nods.
"Yes." She replies.
"Than knock it off. You two," I gesture to Ryder and Josh. "Same goes for you. We need to come up with a reasonable plan that won't harm us." They nod and head back to their original positions. Tyler tries to hold back his laughter but fails miserably.
"Tyler. Now is not the greatest time for laughing." I comment. He just laughs harder at my statement.
"Sorry." He says after sobering up from his outbreak. I roll my eyes.
"Okay so here's the plan."

"Anne, be ready for when we get out of the building. Once we get out, start the car and start driving slowly. We'll run to catch up but you have to make sure that the side door is going to be open when we get there." She rolls her eyes.
"I was there when you said that at the house. And in the driveway. And the car."
"Sorry. I just don't want to lose another member." I look at everyone. They all give the typical sympathetic look. I shake my head at them.
"Don't look at me like that. I lost a member and a friend, I'll live another day before I see it happen to one of you too." Anne places a reassuring hand on my shoulder. I shake it off and stalk towards the warehouse. I can hear the others follow and the car door slam shut. Josh runs to a stop next to me.
"Hero, relax." I keep my pace rushed. He sighs deeply. "Hero stop." He demands, freezing in place. I turn to face him.
"Josh, we have to keep moving otherwise we're going to get caught out here."
"Well that sucks cause I'm not moving until you decide to be rational." My eyes widen in shock. I scoff, unbelieving.
"Rational? I am being rational! I'm trying to save you! All of you!" I scream. I relax and take a deep breath. "Josh, just c'mon. I'll talk to you inside, not out here in the open." I turn back to the building and start the journey towards the place Victor was murdered.
