Chapter 21

  *door slams open* "Erika get out! I need to talk to y/n" Emilio says with a serious face. I quickly hide the test in my back pocket and pretend to be looking down at the magazine next to where the pregnancy test was. I then notice the second test on the table and I immediately grab the magazine and put it on top of the second test. "No Emilio, you get out!" Erika snaps back to Emilio. "Look what y/n and I have to talk about is important so come back later" Emilio says to Erika. "What we were talking about was so much more important than whatever silly thing you need to tell her" Erika says and gets in front of Emilio. Emilio scoffs and walks around her and comes closer to me. "Erika come back in a few and we'll see" I tell Erika. Erika nods and leaves the room shutting the door behind herself. I hug Emilio. "Hey so what's up?" I ask him. "Why haven't you returned any of my calls or texts!?" He asks. "I've bee-" I try saying. "I've been thinking about reasons why and it hit me that the last time we talked was when we had sex and that I don't remember using protection" he says. He grabs my hands and lifts my chin up since I'm looking at the floor at this point. "Are you pregnant?" He asks. I feel my cheeks get red. "Well actually...Do you want to find out with me?" I ask him as I lift the magazine off the test. He smiles at me, "I would love to" he says as he hugs me from behind. "What's this?" He asks as he takes the first pregnancy out of my back pocket. "Omg I forgot I put that there" I say as I begin laughing. He looks down at it and asks "what does one line mean?" I jump on Emilio and kiss him. "It means im not pregnant!" I tell him. He puts me down and looks sad.
