Falling for him

Chapter 5

I nervously chuckle  and look away.

I look back at Ivan and he's leaning on the wall with a grin on his face.

"I only said that to make Jake back off" I say nervously. I don't know why he makes me so damn nervous. I begin to walk towards the pool but he grabs my arm and twirls me back to face him, closer than before.

"So you're not interested in dating me?" He asks and pretends to be hurt while putting his other hand on his chest.

"I- I-" I stutter and can feel my hands begin to sweat. He chuckles and pulls me a bit closer so that our bodies almost touch.

"Fuck anna, don't do that!" He growls and I furrow my eyebrows.

"Don't bite your lip, you do it when you're nervous and it drives me insane. Soon I wont be able to resist" he says and my stomach begins to do thousands of backflips. My heart accelerates and my face flushes. He called me anna?
 
"Anna?" I squeak

"Savannah is too long." He says and looks down at my lips. At this point my heart feels like one of those cartoons that has their heart bouncing out of their chest. I look into his blue eyes and I then force myself to not kiss him.

Ask i turn I hear him chuckle.

"Wait. To make Jake back off? What are you talking about? Jake has feelings for you?" he asks and I immediately stop walking and turn on my heels.

"Jake... Jake and I were in a relationship before but then..."

*Ivan's POV*

I can see her eyes get glossy and her lips turn a crimson red. Something about the thought of her relationship with Jake makes her sad and all I want to do is hold her in my arms and make her feel better. What could he have done to make her this upset? After a bit, it hits me. He cheated.

"I know, I know what you're gonna say, don't say it" I tell her. Jake had told me about a girl he once cheated on but he never cared to mention her name. I walk closer to her and wrap my arms around her. She hugs me back and begins to cry.

"Don't cry. It hurts me to see you this way." I whisper into her ear and rub her back.

* Savannah's POV*

My head is on Ivan's chest. I'm so close to him I can hear his heart beat and his warm body against mine. I look up and see beautiful blue eyes. Those fucking eyes will be the death of me. He smiles at me.

*cough cough*

"Sorry guys am I interrupting something?" Someone says with the most sarcastic tone. I immediately back away from Ivan and see Emilio standing to our right. Ivan glares at Emilio.

"what's up?" I ask without even explaining what the hell was just happening.

*Emilio's POV*

I can't believe Ivan would kiss Savannah. He saw the way I looked at her in the restaurant and I told him how interested I was in her. Just 2 hours ago I told him that something about her made me want to get to know her and maybe even ask her out. I can't let her see me mad, its too early to ruin things.

"Nothing, just this" I say. I pick her up bride style and carry her all the way to the pool.

"EMILIO!! She screams out while laughing.

"emilio nooo" she screams as I start counting down. "3...2..." I count down the seconds left till I drop her in the pool. "1" i saw and drop her into the pool. Everyone starts laughing and I go to help her out of the pool. I extend my arm to offer her help. She goes to grab it but then grabs my wrist and pulls me in.

*Jake's POV*

"Why'd you and Savannah end things again?" Anthony asks me while handing me a drink.

"She broke up with me" I growl.

I then look back at Savannah. She's splashing water at Emilio and laughing. I miss her. I then look back at Anthony.

"but it isn't over between me and her, I will get her back" I tell him.

"Well if you plan to do so, this is your chance to go talk to her" Anthony says as he's nudging me and signaling to Emilio walking inside and leaving Savannah alone in the pool.

"She's going to take me back and then I'll drop her just like she dropped me. But I'll let her have her fun for now" I say and laugh.
