Weeks pass on Neverland, Anna lost track of how long it's really been. Within the long dragging weeks, she's gained Pan's trust, he makes her keeper of all things important. Like dream shade poison and herbs. Anna has worked so hard on her power that she's just about mastered it. She's now able to talk and read a persons past, that way they don't suspect anything. It works really well on Pan. Anna has seen everyone's past and what they ran from to get them stuck here. Some boys are from a place she's never seen before. Some of them come from a land without magic. She learns that Pan has a hostage girl on the island and keeps her in a cage. She would help the girl but she still need Pan's trust, she's tricked him into thinking she likes the island. Her reality is that she feels trapped, she is trapped. She found out she can't leave the island unless Pan says so. Now Anna is playing the cards she's been given. It is still taking a while to get Pan's full past, but he's centuries old, it takes time. So far she knows that Pan is Rumplestiltskin's father. Rumplestiltskin's son, Bae, has been on this island before and escaped which is why the Wendy girl is imprisoned here. Anna has also figured out how to use her power without having to look at the person she's thinking off. Her power has limits, but Anna likes the loopholes.

Anna realizes that no time passes on Neverland. As long as she's on the island, she'll never age or grow up. This worries her because she knows of no way to leave. Her parents will grow old and she'll never know if she'll ever see them again. The one part of her power she has got to figure out is how to look at a persons past without directly being in the same place as that person. So Anna has no way of how her parents reacted when she ran away. It's the one thing Anna is constantly trying to do but can't achieve.

Anna's favorite spot on the island is that shore line down by the beach. She sits on a big rock on looks out at the boat in the distance. Capon Hook's boat. Anna has seen the part of Pan's past that involves Hook and his crew. Back when Bealfire was here, Hook had him on his boat for some time until Hook gave up Bealfire. Pan thought Bealfire was the one that held the heart to the truest believer but it wasn't him. Peter Pan needs the heart of the truest believer to remin young and powerful.

Because Anna has been given the role of the Keeper, she holds the drawing with the face of the trustiest believer. The drawing is off a young boy with dark shaggy hair. He looks to be around Anna's age. Anna thought that boy was a little cute but thought nothing else off it.

One night Anna was sitting on her rock by the shore line looking out at the boat, just a speck in her vision. She wished she was on that boat rather than the island but kept the wish to herself as Peter Pan started to approach her.

"You missed tonight's dance." He walks up to her from behind and stops a foot away.

"We have one every night, it's not like I missed much." Anna doesn't look it him, still fixing her gaze at the water.

"Yes but you still haven't heard my pipe yet, I'm worried." Pan's brows come together in frustration.

"It's a stupid pipe, so what if I can't hear it." Anna mumbles.

"It's not just a pipe, Anna, when you hear it, it means your a true lost girl."

"Why does it matter if I hear it or not." Anna turns her body to him.

"Because, your were brought here because you felt lost. Now it's seems like your not so lost as I thought. You stair at the water as if you want to leave. You cannot be considered a lost girl until you've heard the pipe. Everyone who can hear it feels like they belong here." Pan explains.

"Are you asking me why I don't feel lost and why I don't feel like I belong?" Anna gets off her rock to face him completely.

"Yes."

"I don't feel lost because I feel like this island is my real home. But I don't feel like I fit it because I'm not like everyone else. I think because I'm a girl, I'll never hear that pipe." It's clear to Anna that she has to lie about her feelings as well. She's been doing it ever since she set foot on the soil.

Pan thinks about it for a moment, opening his mouth and then closing it again. When he finally thinks of what to say he takes a seat on the rock and faces Anna. "I think your right. Sometimes I go recruit people but a girl never shows up."

Anna wanted to say 'I know' but that would blow her cover. "Oh, well I guess I really am always right." This witted comment makes Pan smile.

"I'm sorry you'll never get to hear the beautiful music that escapes my pipe."

"It's never bothered me that I can't."

"Regardless." They stay silent for a while. Both looking out at the water. "Why do you enjoy watching the waves so much?" He must think Anna doesn't notice the boat.

"It's a very pretty scene. The sound of nature soothes me. It's just a good place to be." Anna sighs. Her real reason is because she truly does want to leave.

"Then maybe we should move your hammock out here."

"If you did that, you'd never get me to leave." She smirks at him.

"Your right. Besides, the boys are done building your surprise."

"A surprise?" Anna asks intrigued even though she wasn't. She knew Pan ordered some lost boys to build her a small cabin where she can have her own space. And even though it was very kind if him, she still doesn't trust his.

"Yeah, come see!" Pan leaps off the rock and starts to run in the woods. Anna follows him not far behind. Together they run though the woods without trouble. Anna has learnt her way around in the past weeks. He begins to lead her into and unknown space she's never been before. Isolated from the camps Pan has showed her. Until they stop in front of a big wooden shack.

"Now way." Anna gasps in disbelief. Even though she knew it was for her, she still couldn't wrap her head around it.

"I felt like you needed more privacy from the rest."

"This is amazing." A huge grin forms on Anna's face as she takes it all in. Pan opens the wooden door, holding it open from her. She steps in and takes another gasp for air. A nice bed in the middle if the room with a night stand next to it. In the corner of the room is a chest made of logs. On the walls are shelves holding things Anna wasn't carrying today.

"I'll be making a stone path here so that you won't get lost." Pan states.

"I don't know how to thank you."

"Just enjoy your living space, that's thanks enough."

"And the boys who helps build it, I need to thank them." Anna urges.

"There will be plenty of time for that, just feel around for the night."

"I will." Anna gets closer to Pan. Hesitantly, she warps her arms around him to share a hug. He lightly hugs back but has an awkward stance. "Thank you, Pan."

"Please, call me peter. We're friends. I feel like I can trust you more than Felix."

"Don't tell Felix that." Anna's eyes widen.

"Ever." Peter agrees. "Anyway, I'll leave you. Have a good rest of your night."

"You too." Anna waves to him as he exits her little shack closing the door begins him.

As much as Anna would love to be friends with Peter and cherish what he has given her, she just can't. She won't be deceived by his good looks, charming attitude and kind gestures. Anna knows better because she's seen his past and knows she could never trust him. Funny how Peter Pan thinks he can trust her. Big mistake in his part.

Once Peter is gone, Anna allows herself to look around. Opening the chest in the corner, she seems some new sets of clothes. On top of it all are her bow and arrows. This shack will be her salvation.

Once Anna scoped everything out and made heralded at home, she gets comfy in her new bed and sleeps.
