Hello again!
I tried to do this once with my 5 Seconds of summer fan fiction but it didn't work out...so I'm going to try it here🤷🏻‍♀️.
Would anyone be willing to participate in character and Author questions? Meaning You would ask a question to the characters and they would answer back to you in the next chapter I post after you've all asked questions?
Let me know if you guys would like to do that! To me it's just a fun way of interacting with you guys because I love talking to all of you!
Thanks XOXO 💜

*Anna's POV*

After hours upon hours of excitement and waiting, Rose takes me to my room to get me ready for the ball. My first ball and I'm an important part of it. It's surreal and I sometimes find myself thinking it's all a dream and I'm still stuck in Neverland. That I've just gone crazy and imagined myself if a better place. But the boys and preparations for the ball oddly bring me back to knowing it's not a dream.

But a part of me still wishes this is dream. I wish it was a dream because I'm going to lose my lost boys tonight. By the end of the night, the lost boys will no longer be lost boys. They will leave with a family who will take care of them and make them feel loved like how they should have felt a long, long time ago. My purpose was to take care of them. What will my purpose be now?

Rose raps on the door and comes in with my dress. Seeing it for the first time gives me goosebumps. She hangs it up to let me see it in its entirety.

The problem we had with a dress was that I wanted it to be me. Something that represented the outdoors with flowers because there were none on Neverland.

The corset is a mix of purples, pinks, blues and greens. It has lace elbow length sleeves that's ends with the same materials and colors of the corset. The tan inside skirt can be seen through all the light and dark green tool that makes up the outer layers of the long and flowing skirt.

"So, I take it that face says it all." Rose comes to stand next to me.

"It's better than I thought it would be. I'm speechless." I sigh.

"I helped them. I knew you would love it!"

"Thank you so much!" I turn to hug her, she's taken off guard and I get the feeling she doesn't get hugs often from the people she tends too.

"No need to thank me dear!" She giggles.

"I wanna put it on!"

"That goes last, we have to do your hair and you have to put on all the jewelry." She leads me over to the vanity.

"How are we doing my hair?"

"You leave all that to me and just relax. Balls can be stressful as you've noticed."

She starts to do my hair in a very concentrated manner. It is already very messy and when I mentioned that to her her she said it's for the look. Now looking at the dress I can tell she's going for a wild and free hairstyle that fits the dress. Once done, she allows me to have a look. My hair has been wild before as the Neverland days were not kind to it. But what Rose did is a new wild. It's like a contained and organized type but still bold and out there. Perfect for me because that's what I am right now. She also put in a purple flower crown to match the dress.

After my hair, she put a necklace around my neck. I watched through the mirror in awe at the site of the purple and white diamonds. It hangs in the center of my chest below my collar bones. It shines in the light given from the open windows. I feel guilty wearing it, like I shouldn't be so close to something so beautiful and costly.
