*Annalynn's POV*
He makes his way a few feet away from us, and analyzes the situation. "You have a crown...who are you?"
"I am Queen Annalynn of Neverland and I demand your fools unhand me and my solider."
"Neverland? More like never heard of it!" He boasts. His knights laugh with him as it echoes through the room.
"You dare question me?"
"I-" the king is about to respond, however he's stopped by the soft sound of his daughters voice behind him.
"Neverland is real, Father." She steps down, walking some way to meet him, but still keeps her distance. "I've read about it in the Book of Realms and Kingdoms...the one mother gave me."
He turns his head to look at me, deeply annoyed. With a slight nod his knights hands are off my men and I. They step back and the boys come forward.
"Well Queen Annalynn...tell me; why were you running?"
"I was invited to a wedding and to also make an deal. I had no idea you and your boneheaded knights would be intervening. This is my first time as Queen outside of Neverland, you can imagine the first response is to run and ask questions later. My knights wanted to get me to safety, but as we quickly realized we had no idea where we were even going, I realized it would be best to just see what was going on for myself." So far so good. I'm keeping my breathing steady and holding myself high like a proud and brave queen.
"The prince and his lover got away which means he suspected I would make my arrival with full force. Why wouldn't he let you know, giving you are a queen and your safety is important."
"Clearly the young prince doesn't care about my safety as much as I thought. Now I ask you simply...what is going on?" Now that's a believable statement. Go me!
He takes a second to comprehend what I just said.
"The soon to be king was originally betrothed to my beautiful daughter." He backs up, taking Hannah's hand, waking her closer to us. She has an odd and slight evil look to herself. She has a serious looking face, very stiff. Her hair is pinned back in some sort of bonnet that brings her hair up to look like horns as some of it neatly hangs out. The collar on her dress is also very large that wraps around her head. She reminds me of a younger, lighter version of Regina.
The king himself looks very bland besides all the jewels he chooses to wear. The crown he's wearing looks small on his giant tan, bald head. It looks as though his head may swell from the pressure.
"Until I got word that he would be married to a peasant girl. The wedding was off. It was out of the blue and utterly disrespectful to me and the princess. The deal is the wedding would have given my land more farming resources and in return I would provide more wealth with my jewel mines."
Well that explains his attire. "So you storm his castle?"
"This is war. The fact that a prince would choose a present girl over Hannah is vial and I will not stand for it."
I am honestly offended for not just Julia, but for myself. I am essentially, a nobody to royalty, yet my true love is...Henry...an actual prince by birth. Does this man seriously think royalty has that much power over just being human?
"I understand." I nod.
"Now, where is Destinland's child princess?" He steps away, leaving Hannah and I to face each other. The second he isn't looking she immediately looks softer. As if she is putting on an act to be heavier.
He waits for someone to step forward but nobody is willing. "WHERE IS THE CHILD!"
"Your grace," I seek his attention again, coming forward slightly. "Do you mean Princess Nattie?"
