"Order up!"

I picked up the plate of pancakes and served it to the waiting customer by the window. He smiled shyly at me, his glasses sliding down his nose.

"Let me know if there's anything else you need, Sir." I also smiled at him, then walked briskly to another booth to take orders.

I worked hard all morning, at the same time thinking what could be happening at home right now. I wish Nick and Charlie talk at all instead of having another screaming match.

I hope Cassie's alright. I thought as I wipe a table clean of pie crust. Her nightmare must be terrifying.

It was good that Nick was there with us last night. He managed to calm her down. I noticed Cassie put her guard down when my brother embraced her tight.

Love. I sighed blissfully. It would really be amazing if they end up toge-

"Hey!"

I heard a sharp cussing from behind me, and my eyes immediately narrowed when I saw Natasha Duncan.

She's sitting in one of the booths with her friends, a mix of girls and guys. Some of the girls are from our school, the guys are not. I believe they're in college.

"Oh, look. Future Mrs Raven." Natasha drawled, her bloodshot eyes almost resembled a raccoon with all those smudged eyeliner and mascara. I knew right away that she's drunk. Their group reek of alcohol smell.

They all laughed, looking at me scornfully. Well, not all. One guy was just smiling, looking at me up and down lewdly.

"What can I get you?" I asked, gritting my teeth. I kept my sight on my note pad, waiting for them to order.

"Uhh.." Natasha looked at the menu without enthusiasm. Her friends continued their chatting, and kissing. One couple was almost doing it in the booth.

I tapped my pen on my note pad, annoyed that they're delaying me from my work. I looked around and noticed that the customers are looking our way with disgust and annoyance.

I can't blame them. Natasha and her friends are too loud, and obnoxious. They keep laughing, talking dirty stuff, then make out with whoever is beside them. It's good that we don't have much customers around this time.

"Why don't you call me when y'all ready to order?"

I turned on my heels, letting out a deep breath.

"Hey!" Natasha bellowed unnecessarily, I just took two steps away from them. "What are you bitchin' about? You that rude to customers?"

I rolled my eyes as she tried to form proper sentences to berate me. She keeps on slurring curses at me and even stood up to point her finger at my face.

"Fag! Lesbian whore!" she shouted at my face. My face felt hot with anger and embarrassment, but I held my ground.

"I'm afraid you must leave. We do not tolerate-" I stated calmly but she grabbed my arm tightly and shook me.

"You're a fucking cunt! You act like a nice little girl, but you're not!" she said angrily. Pairs of hands pulled her away from me before I can push her.

"Nat, c'mon. Stop it." one of her friends calmed her down. He's got a skull tattoo on the side of his neck, and he seems pissed at Natasha's behaviour. He looked down at her hard enough to scare her off.

"B-but she's-"

"Just drop it!" he screamed at her. She immediately backed away and shut up. The tattooed guy, who was also looking at me nastily earlier, turned to me.
