After three short weeks in Ibiza Rocco finally got the long-anticipated call that they needed us back ASAP. So, of course, we had to rush back to New York the second we got the call.

I angerly packed my suitcase, clearly not thrilled that we had to go back to New York. Rocco leaned in the doorway of our bedroom with his muscular arms crossed against his toned chest. He simply stared at me with a humorous glint in his eyes and a comical smirk plastered on his face.

"I'm glad you find this funny Rocco," I said not taking my eyes off my packing. Rocco sighed and pushed himself away from the doorway and came behind me. His arms found their way around my waist and his head came down to rest on my shoulder. Rocco took a deep breath in, taking in the soft lavender and vanilla scent I wore.

"You know I don't want to leave any more than you amore. But deep down you know you want to go home. New York will always be our home, our safe haven." I leaned myself back into Rocco 's body and took a deep breath in.

"You're right, but it is winter in New York, therefore, I'd much rather be here right now. Good thing Mia will be home." Rocco almost seemed to jump out of his skin when I said that his sister would be home. Mia left right after our engagement to go take care of her and Rocco's nonna in Sicily. She will finally be coming home and will be home for the wedding.

"My nonna still isn't well, Mia is leaving her?" I shook my head and less angerly began folding my clothes again.

"Your nonna is actually doing really well and they will both be coming, along with your nonno to New York for the wedding. Then your nonna and nonno will go back to Sicily and Mia will stay in New York with us or with your parents, whichever she chooses." Rocco suddenly threw everything off the bed and picked me up tossing me on the now cleared bed.

Before I could yell at him for throwing my suitcase off and ruining everything I had just been working on, he began to kiss me. His plump lips trailed kisses down my jaw, to my neck down to my collarbone then stopping mid-chest before my breasts.

"I love my sister but she will be staying with our parents." I giggled and Rocco and I continued to enjoy our last few hours in paradise together before having to go back to our chaotic home.

"Home sweet home," I announced sarcastically, stepping off the private jet and into the cold New York air. Rocco walked behind me and I quickly intertwined our hands before we got to the car. He couldn't help glare at the staring workers.

Rocco opened the passenger door for me as the workers at the airstrip put our luggage in the trunk. He walked to the other side and got in the driver's seat. Rocco was surprisingly quiet the whole ride home and didn't even look at me.

The only kind of interaction that he showed was a complacent hand on my thigh. I sighed heavily ignoring him right back not knowing why he was upset. After a few minutes of him staring blankly at the road with an annoyed look on his face, I finally spoke up.

"Rocco, what's going on?" Nothing. He didn't even look at me, instead, he just kept staring at the road. "Hello? I'm talking to you Rocco." Still nothing he still stared at the road. I scoffed and shoved his hand off my thigh and crossed my legs. I found a sudden interest out the window and kept my eyes looking at the passing establishments.

When we got home I threw open the door and walked inside our home slamming the front door behind me. I walked to our bedroom and locked myself in. Maybe I was being a little dramatic but ever since we got off the plane Rocco was being an ass for no reason. I hadn't done anything, we were talking on the plane until about ten minutes before we landed and he got a phone call and since then he's been quiet.

I sat at my vanity and looked at myself in the mirror for a few minutes before picking up the phone to call Mia. It only took a few rings for Mia to pick up.

"Hello?" Mia's soft voice rang through my ears as it was very refreshing for me to hear it again. She was probably the only true friend I've ever had. Mozzie turned out to be Russian/Albanian spy and Mozzie had been my only friend for my whole life.

"Hey Mia, it's Ales." A squeal came from the other side of the line. A small smile appeared on my face knowing that Mia was as excited to talk to me as I was to her.

"Hey, baby! I missed you, you're back in New York right? Because if you are I am taking you out tonight." I chuckled a little, Mia was just as assertive and demanding as her brother. The two of them were the same and different in so many ways.

"I missed you too Mimi, I am home Rocco and I actually just got in about ten minutes ago. And you always know I'm down for a night out. Pick me up at ten?" Mia squealed once again and happily agreed. I had about four hours before Mia was to be here so I hopped in the shower and did everything I had to.

When I got out of the shower I put my warm black robe on and let my hair air-dry into its natural curly state. I trotted downstairs past Rocco's office, the door was left ajar. I couldn't help but peek in. His large frame was hunched over his laptop as he wore a very stressed look on his face. I sighed heavily and gave in.

I walked into Rocco's office and stood in the doorway. Rocco looked up with a disgruntled look on his face. I rose an eyebrow at him then pushed myself off the door frame. I walked to his side of the desk and pushed his chair out. His arms fell to the chair's armrests and I plopped myself on his lap.

I threw my arms around his neck and gave him a chaste kiss on his cheek. He didn't react so I reached out to feel his forehead. The man wasn't sick so there was definitely something else bothering him.

I gave him a disappointed look and began to get off his lap. Rocco held me there and took a deep breath in letting it out. His face grew closer to mine and his forehead fell to my own. He gave me a few butterfly kisses before kissing my nose.

"I'm sorry amore, I didn't want to react the way I did but I can't help it." I cocked my head to the side before I reached up my hand up and caressed his smooth cheek.

"You need to tell me what's going on Rocco." Rocco looked down then back up to meet my eyes before holding me a little bit closer.

"There's been a bounty put on your head, Alessandra."
