The next day was Friday and it was the last week of school. After today, our school holiday will start until school reopens. Our friends, Esther, and i still have not found the extra student because we were too busy with our exams when it started last Monday and it ended on last Friday. Well, luckily, our results were good for us while Amy's results are... well, you can say she failed mostly all subjects because you know, she seldom pays attention in class even exams are near.
Our teachers even announced the students who are in the top 10. Esther and i listened carefully to see if we could find the extra student's name. While listening and finding for it, we heard our names being called out and realized that we are in the top 10 too. My position was 5 and Esther's position was 6. Once we heard our names, we went to take a reward from our form teachers and then went back to finding the extra student.
---Recess---
As we ate our food in our classroom, we continue to search for the extra student. Suddenly, Amy suggested writing everyone's names on a piece of paper and then we could estimate who the extra student is. The rest of us agreed to her suggestion and everyone suddenly turned their heads towards me, staring at me. I became awkward as Esther gestured me to take out a piece of paper and i did what i was told to do so.
After i put the paper on the table, everyone stopped staring at me which is a good thing. Esther started writing everyone's names, including ours but she is writing according to our index number so we would not miss out anyone's name.
After Esther was done, we then estimated the extra student. Suddenly, Austin and his best friend, Judah, came up to us and asked whether we needed help or not. I looked at Esther and she shook her head. Then, i looked back at the boys and told them that we don't need help from them and they went back to their seats, continued to chat with one another. I guess Esther still don't trust boys after what happened that day, huh.
---After School---
While our classmates were busy walking out of the classroom, Esther pointed one of the boys' names on the paper and i looked at the boy as he walked out of the classroom. Esther explained to me why she thinks that boy is the extra student.
After explaining, i realized that Esther's explanation is correct. I looked at the boy's name and remembered it. His name is Edward. Well, i hope i could remember because i have Short Term Memory(STM).
When we were about to step out of the school gate, i felt a tap on my shoulder and i looked back to see no one behind us. I then looked back in front and continued walking as i catch up with Esther. Could it be the 'it' that tap my shoulder again? Oh well. In the end, we managed to find the extra student and hopefully, we are correct about it.
---10.20pm---
We were busy watching anime in our room with the door and windows closed since the air-conditioner was on. We didn't realize our parents were back home by this time. Suddenly, my phone vibrated and i unlocked it to find that i just received a message from Emily. Since she is online, i chat with her as i watched the anime without Esther knowing about it.
Emily:'Do you want to come to my house tmr?'
Me:'Why? It's out of a sudden to ask'
Emily:'Don't you want to see it?'
Me:'It? As in the one who has been passing the notes to me and Esther?'
Emily:'Yes, you're right. So, do you want to come to my house tmr?'
Me:'I want to but right now, we are busy watching anime. Esther is into the episode now and i dont want to disturb her when she is into it now. How about i answer you tmr in the morning?'
Emily:'Okay, sure. Answer me before 10.20am'
Me:'Why at a specified time?'
Emily:'Well, i always wake up at this timing just like you and your sister. Bye and gn(good night)'
Me:'Goodnight'
After i put away my phone, i continued watching as Esther become more and more into the episode.
---The Next Day, 5.26am---
I woke up at the same timing, 5.26am. Why am i always waking up at this time? Ugh... Oh well.
I took my phone from the bedside table and started playing games while sitting on my bed and my back leaning against the wall.
---6.25am---
Esther woke up at the same timing she always wake up, 6.25am. She knew i am awake so i asked her about whether she wants to go to Emily's house today while i showed her the chat i have with Emily yesterday.
After Esther has finished reading the chat, she said that she will go as she returned my phone to me. I then messaged Emily that the both of us will be going to her house since she told me to answer before 10.20am.
Come to think of it, this is going to be our first time going to her house. I wonder what her house looks like. Suddenly, my phone vibrated and i unlocked it to find that i have just received a message from Emily.
Emily:'Meet me at the bus stop at 3pm where you always take bus to school'
Me:'Okay, sure. Np. See ya later'
Emily:'See ya later too'
We chat for only two minutes and i told Esther about it as we prepared ourselves before going out. After telling our parents that we are going out, we went to bus stop to see that Emily was not there yet. Looks like we are earlier than her and the time now was 2.59pm. One more minute to 3.
When Emily has arrived, she came from the opposite side of the bus stop and she apologized for being late as she was panting heavily since we saw her running towards us. Then, we head off to Emily's house.
