Chapter 32

Oh my god... What should i do? Ask Austin about last year? No, no, that's hard for me since the both of us don't talk a lot but maybe i should try asking him... I took my phone and unlocked it. I opened the chat i have with Austin which was quite short because he only send me the messages related to homework and school-related stuff. Since he's online now, i decided to ask him about last year while Esther looks at what we were talking about. 

Me:'Hi, this is Ashley. If possible, could you tell me about last year?'

Austin:'A lot of stuff happened last year, what do you want me to tell you?'

Me:'The situations you have been through like what we are going through'

Austin:'I don't even know what you are going through now, how am i supposed to tell you about it?'

Me:'We are going through similar situations that you've been through last year or should i say it should be the same situations as you?'

Austin:'Are you serious? I'm getting confused. Is it similar or exactly the same or you don't know whether it's similar or exactly the same?'

Me:'...I think i don't know whether it's exactly the same or not. Just tell me what kind of situations you've been through last year'

Austin:'Okay, fine. But it's a long story, you sure you still want to know?'

Me:'Yeah, i don't care whether it's long or not. I just want to know'

Austin:'Okay, here it goes'

With that, Austin told me all kinds of situations he have been through last year and he also told me how did it start to happen to him since he managed to figure it out himself. 

After he has finished telling me, he immediately went offline and i put my phone aside while Esther quickly move away from me. I just realized that she was sitting so close to me until like there's no gap in between us but i'm kind of glad that she moved away.

When we were about to go out, my phone suddenly vibrated in my hand and i unlocked it to find that Emily just sent me a message. I opened the message as Esther took a look at the message too. 

Emily:'I'll be there too with my mum. You know what i meant by there, right? Your parents are taking you and your sister there too, after all. Alvin and his two older brothers will be there too so prepare yourself. You might as well tell your sister this too. See ya later'

Esther and i exchanged looks and mum saw us exchanging looks. She then forced me to let her see my phone since i don't want her to see Emily's message but i gave in to her. After she gave me back my phone, her reaction was calm and told us to go downstairs and wait for her in dad's car.

After awhile, mum came down and dad drove us to the place where we are going to meet the person who can help us. The whole ride from home to the place, we were quiet and never talk even once in the car. Esther was using her phone to listen to anime songs with her earpiece on as she started to memorize the lyrics although it was in Japanese. I was doing the same but i didn't memorize the lyrics and instead, i memorize the dance moves.

When we reached the place, i realized it was quite far from our house. The place has a big garden surrounding the place and the garden looks so beautiful because the flowers were so pretty. We then made our way to the place while Esther takes photos of the flowers as she walked along with us to the place.

When we were inside the place, the living room was big with a big fan on the ceiling, a long and wide table with cushions and chairs around it, leaving some gap so people could walk freely, the windows were square and it fits evenly on the wall. Each corner of the living room, there's a small table to put the vase with different kinds of flowers placed inside it. 

As for the dining room, it was evenly the same size as the living room and there's only dining stuff but it was put in an organized and neatly way. The windows are the same but there's no small table in each corner to put the vase. 

There was only one bedroom so i think that only person lives here. We were about to walk into the bedroom when someone stops us from behind. It's like we were taking a tour around the house without the owner's permission. We turned behind and Esther and i were shocked to see that the person that could help us was someone we knew. We never expect that the person was someone we knew. We expected it was someone we don't know. 

The person told us to wait in the living room as the others were on their way here. 

"So, did you manage to take a tour around the house except for my bedroom?"the person asked Esther and i instead of my parents. We shook our heads since we didn't manage to go to the room beside her bedroom, the room opposite it and the kitchen. We wanted to take a tour inside the kitchen since it was just beside the dining room but our parents were more curious about how the bedroom looks like. 

The person smiled and says,"They're here. I guess i will give you a tour around the house next time because they have been here before and they would be bored if they take the tour around the house again." After the person says finish her line, she then pointed to the window and all of us take a look outside. We saw Alvin, Kelvin, Melvin, and their parents have arrived but there's no sign of Emily yet. She messaged me saying she will be here too. Is she lying to me? Nah, she wouldn't lie to me, i just know she wouldn't. 

After their family reached the living room, Alvin and i made eye-contact and he smirked at me. I then ignored his smirk and looked at his dad. Looks like he's discharged from the hospital a few days ago judging from his face and the way he stands. Kelvin and Melvin were talking among themselves happily. 

When the entrance of the door suddenly opens, all of us looked to see who was the one that opened the door and in the end, it was Emily and her mother. Wait... Only her mother? Is her mother the only family member she has? Oh well. Anyway, she did come, after all. I knew it she wouldn't lie to me. 

"Hi, I'm Emily's mother. You are her dancing teacher, right? She told me that we are going to meet you here in your house for something important and urgent. Am i right?"Emily's mother says with a polite tone and smile. How did Emily even know that she's going to meet our dancing teacher here?
