Chapter 12: An Unexpected Incident

After Amy and Dolphy went home, i walked back inside our room, Esther was opening her eyes and i quickly walked to her. Once she has fully opened her eyes, she saw me beside her, looking worried. She got up from her bed and i sat down on my bed, looking relieved. 

After a few minutes, i stood up and went to switch off the air-conditioner while Esther opens the window once the air-con has been switched off. We then went to watch anime using our laptop.

In the evening, mum came back home and we stared at her, shocked. She usually come back home late at night. This is our first time seeing mum came back this early. Mum saw us staring at her, knowing why we stared at her and said,"I'm tired and the boss let me go. Tomorrow, i'm not going for work because i need more rest.". We just nod and she walked to her room while we continued watching anime. 

---Time Skip---

I woke up at the same timing again, 5.26am the next morning. I grabbed my phone from the bedside table and unlocked it. I saw a message from my form teacher, Miss Lim and i viewed the message. She sent it to me yesterday at 10.30pm. Esther and i were already asleep.

Miss Lim:'There's no school today due to an unexpected incident happened in school yesterday. Please come to school on Thursday instead of Wednesday and today.'

What happened yesterday? Did it happen when my class had went home? Is it something big and serious until students do not come to school today and tomorrow? I wonder what is going on in school now? I was about to chat with Amy but i just remembered that Amy should have received the message and should be still sleeping now. Sigh... I have totally forgotten that Amy is the type of person who always sleep late, unlike Esther and i. 

---6.25am---

Esther woke up at 6.25am again and she looks at the timing on the alarm clock. She thought she overslept but i told her to look at the message from Miss Lim and so she did. After she has finished reading, she was confused just like me but she typed something to Miss Lim so i walked to her and sat down beside her. She let me see what she typed to Miss Lim and fortunately , Miss Lim was online and has seen her message. 

Esther:'What happened? Is it serious until we can't come to school today and tomorrow?'

Miss Lim:'Yes, it is serious and right now, the school is repairing the stuff that was destroyed.'

Esther:'What stuff was destroyed?'

Miss Lim:'Well, all of the Sec 2s classrooms were destroyed especially our classroom. Our classroom was badly damaged or should i say it was the most badly damaged than the other classrooms'

Esther:'Are you sure?'

Miss Lim:'Yes, i'm not lying. Why would i lie to my own students?'

Esther:'But, who destroyed the classrooms?'

Miss Lim:'I'm not sure about that. The school is investigating on this now while repairing the classrooms. Whoever destroyed it might have some kind of hatred towards the Sec 2s especially our class.'

Esther:'What makes you think so?'

Miss Lim:'I don't know. I just think like that when i saw our classroom was the most damaged than the other classrooms. Well, i have to go now.'

Esther:'Ok, bye'

After Miss Lim replied bye to Esther, we exchanged looks and then i took out a pen and a notebook. I wrote down the information that Miss Lim told Esther into the notebook. 

After i was done writing down, i read through and then added some extra information. Esther took the notebook from me once i was done and read it. After she was done reading, she returned the notebook to me. 

---Time Skip---

Before we went to sleep, my phone vibrated and i unlocked my phone. I have just received a message from Amy and i viewed the message while Esther sat down beside me to look at the message too. Fortunately, Amy is still online.

Amy:'Hey, Ashley. Did Miss Lim told you not to come to school today and tmr?'

Me:'Yeah, she did tell me. She also tell Esther too. Why would you ask?'

Amy:'Well, actually, i just saw the message from Miss Lim. I didnt know and ended up coming to school'

Me:'You should have read the message before you go to school!'

Amy:'Yeah, i did but Miss Lim didnt send me any message before i go to school'

Me:'Oh, really? But Miss Lim sent me the message yesterday at 10.30pm'

Amy:'Are you serious? Why didnt she tell me too?'

Me:'Idk, maybe she forgot about you'

Amy:'Oh well. At least i get to know why we cant come to sch today and tmr'

Me:'Huh? What do you mean by that?'

Amy:'I saw all of the sec 2s classrooms were badly damaged, especially our class'

 Me:'Did you take a picture of our class?'

Amy:'Nah, i didnt. Got no chance to take it because Miss Lim told me to go home immediately after she saw me'

Me:'Well, that's expected'

Amy:'Yeah, but...'

Me:'But?'

Amy:'There's something bothering me the moment i saw our classroom'

Me:'What is it?'

Amy:'When i reached our class, i was standing near the entrance of the back door and i saw something written on the whiteboard'

Me:'What was written on the whiteboard? Did anyone saw it?'

Amy:'The teachers and principal saw it. I cant really see what was written on it because i was too far away from the whiteboard but i saw some of the names were written on it'

Me:'Whose names were written on it?'

Amy:'Well, the names are Austin, Emily, and'

Me:'And?'

Amy:'Both you and your sister. Both your names were written in capital like someone have some kind of hatred towards you two'

Me:'Oh, really? But why is Austin's name on the board too?'

Amy:'Who knows. That's all i want to tell you. Bye'

After i replied bye to Amy, i quickly grabbed the same notebook and a pen and wrote down whatever Amy just sent to me. Esther was reading the message since she couldn't catch up with what we were talking about.
