The Danger Of My Class(#Wattys2017)

Chapter 23

When we were inside Emily's house, Esther and i wowed at the sight of her house! Her house has five rooms, one office and two bathrooms with a bath! There's so many rooms, probably two bedrooms for her parents and herself and the other three could be a storage room, utility room, and study room. There's also an office, probably for her parents. 

After we wandered around the house as Emily called her parents to tell them that we are here, Emily then lead us to her bedroom. Again, we wowed at the sight of her bedroom! Her bedroom was big, bigger than ours! Moreover, her bedroom is so spacious and it only has what a student have for their school life. She has obviously a table, chair, bed and mirror to adjust her appearance. She also has a bedside table beside her bed but both of her bed and bedside table are leaning against the wall. The table is placed beside the window with the chair tucked in properly. She also has a dustbin in her room and it was placed beside the table. 

She only have this stuff in her bedroom and it's so spacious! Emily can enjoy the view outside while doing her homework.

After we were inside her bedroom, Emily closes her room door, windows and turned on the air-conditioner. Esther and i didn't know that there was an air-con in the room. Emily then told us to sit on her bed and went to the kitchen to prepare drinks for us and herself. 

She came inside the room, holding a round tray with our drinks on it and put it on the table. She then took out a small round table from under the bedside table and put it a few inches away from us. After that, she put the tray on the table carefully and we took our drinks and drank with an awkward silence. 

As we drank our drinks in awkward silence, Emily suddenly spoke up,"So, wanna see the 'it' now or later?". Esther and i exchanged looks and we told Emily that we would like to see the it now. She gestured us to follow her and so we did. 

She brought us to the kitchen, near the refrigerator and she just stood there like she's waiting for it to appear. Esther and i prepared ourselves before anything happens to us. We looked at Emily but her back is facing us so we don't know what she is doing. 

After awhile, she turned her head towards us and said,"Let's go back to my room. We will see it later.". We went back to her room and chat so we would not be in an awkward silence.

After one hour, Emily told us to go to the kitchen while she prepared some stuff. When Emily came into the kitchen, she was carrying two kind of goggles-like and gave it to each to me and Esther. She told us to wear it and so we did. Maybe we could see it wearing these. Once we wore it, there was a fire outline of something that appeared in front of Emily while Emily says,"Did you see a fire outline? That's the outline of it and should be becoming visible as the outline start to fade out". We nodded our heads as we prepared ourselves as it appears.

After awhile, the fire outline has completely faded out and we could see it clearly. We were shocked to see how it looks like. We expected it to look like a scary one but we were wrong. It was more like pure one. It has a kind face, body looks smooth, thin legs and hands. It looks just like a human being!

We were both stunned and shocked until Emily uses her right leg to kick our stomach. We whined at the pain and dropped to our knees the moment she kicked our stomach. She uses so much amount of strength to kick our stomach but fortunately, we didn't vomit anything out. 

Then, it let out its right hand and we stood up to shake its hand. The hand is cold like it has been kept in the refrigerator for a long time. After the handshake, it says,"Hi, Ashley and Esther. I am the one who passed the notes to you. Didn't expect me to look like this, right?". We nodded our heads and it smiled at us for the first time. 

Hold on... Didn't i see it before? I felt like this is not my first time meeting it but this is more like the second or third time meeting it. Suddenly, Esther tapped my shoulder lightly and gently to snap me out. I smiled at her to tell her that i'm alright and then looked back at it. 

After hours of with it, we decided to go home since it was getting late and we didn't want our parents to start worrying about us. Once we got home, our parents were already inside their room, sleeping. It's still early for them to be sleeping and we still haven't eat our dinner yet. Maybe they are tired from their work since today is their day off. We then went to watch anime until our parents were up and we went outside to eat dinner. This is once in a lifetime that Esther and i got to eat with our parents and we felt like a family, eating happily as we talked. 

Today was quite a long day for me but to Esther, today is not a long day since she has so much fun and on the other hand, i have fun but still, it's a long day for me. 

---At Home, In Our Room---

It was already 10.20pm and our parents went to bed at 10pm sharp since we got back home around 9.30pm. My phone suddenly vibrated and i unlocked it to find that i have just received a message from Emily.

Emily:'Hey, Ashley. Did you have fun today?'

Me:'Of course i have fun! Why would you ask?'

Emily:'Because i kicked both you and Esther's stomach very hard'

Me:'Oh, that! Don't need to worry about that! Both of us are fine, at least we didn't vomit anything out'

Emily:'Yeah, but you know, i used more strength to kick your stomach than Esther's stomach'

Me:'Huh?! Why did you do that to me? I did nothing wrong!'

Emily:'Hehe, i just feels like using more strength to kick your stomach. Maybe it's fun kicking you. Oh, i know! I should punch you the moment you became stunned!'

Me:'What?! You shouldn't punch me or else Esther will punch you'

Emily:'Wow, your sister is so protective of you. I'm so envious of you'

Me:'Haha, that's what sisters are for, i think. I have to go sleep now. Goodnight'

Emily:'Goodnight'

We chatted for like five minutes and i just came up with an excuse so i could continue watching anime with Esther.
