Yes, this is a chapter with Chance, Jake, Tony, and Kath from the past. I always wanted to do this chapter until the book ended.
Yes, the next chapter is the last chapter and then it's completed.
Also, I cracked my screen on my phone real bad and I'm pissed and sad.

My alarm goes off, meaning I had to wake up, and go to the one place I hated.
School.
I groan, hearing my mom calling up to me. "Sweetie! Hurry up! Jake and Tony are coming over to get on the bus for school!"
"Okay mom! I'm coming!" I yell back down to her.
I groan, throwing the sheets off and get ready for school. I sigh, grabbing my bag and homework, walking out of my room and down the stairs to my kitchen.
Stephen was already gone, but his plate from earlier was still sitting down on the counter. I set down my bags on the floor, walking up to my seat and starting to eat my food quickly, so I had time to wash my teeth.
After breakfast and washing my teeth, I was standing outside, waiting for the bus and my two best friends. I heard two pair of voices coming up, laughing about something. I look up seeing Jake, Tony, and Logan. I smile, standing up quickly and hugging all three of them.
"I missed you guys!"
Tony chuckles, lifting a eyebrow. "It's only been over night Kath."
"Yeah." Jake says, his voice raspy and cute.
"I could care less." I say, smiling at my two best friends. "I like your craziness."
"Dear god." Logan says, watching for the bus. "Why am I stuck with my little brother and his friends?"
"Because you love him and us even though we're not blood related."
Logan smiles at me, rolling his eyes slightly. "Yeah. Sure."
Jake laughs, punching Logans shoulder. "I love you bro."
Logan smiled, while Tony and I exchanged glances, smiling at the brothers. I sigh, all of us quiet while waiting for the bus, well, until Jake said something.
"Kath. I want you to meet someone tonight."
"What time?" I ask Jake.
"After basketball tonight."
"Okay, Jakey." I say, smiling at him. "I will take a ride with you and your mom."
Tony smiles, looking at Jake like he knew something. I roll my eyes, the bus pulling up while all four of us walked in. Tony and I sitting together while the brothers sat by each other.

The school day was over, along with basketball practice. I was sitting in the back with Jake, with his mom driving us to Jake's house.
"I'm so excited! I can't wait until you meet him!"
I smile at Jake, the same way he was, even though we were eight, Jake has a tough life. With his parents divorced, and what not. His mom pulls into the drive way, parking the car.
Once the engine was off, Jake and I unbuckled, jumping out of the car. Jake grabbed my hand, running into the house. I giggle, turning the corner with Jake. I stopped, noticing a dirty blonde boy sitting in Jake's living room, playing on a game boy.
"Chance!"
The boy looked up, smiling at Jake once he saw him. The boy named Chance got up, walking towards Jake.
"Hey, bro!" Jake says, doing this handshake with the kid.
"I'm, Katherine, call me Kath or Kat for short. Who is this?"
"This is Chance. The kid I wanted you to meet!"
"Has Tony meant him?"
Jake nods, smiling at me and the kid. "And all four of us are going to be best friends!"
"But Tony isn't here...." I say, my small voice shy, looking at the kid I just meant.
"Don't worry. Tony will be here once he's done with his basketball practice but for now. Let's be best friends and have fun!"

{seven years later}I was now fourteen, Chance and Jake fifth teen, while Tony was sixteen since he was the oldest out of all of us. Jake was starting to grow, along with Chance and Anthony. While I was the short one, I mean I liked it most of the time because I was a little faster than the boys. Speaking of the boys, we were all at the park, playing two on two. Anthony and Chance a team while Jake and I were on a team. So far Jake and I were winning, Chance and Anthony three points down than ours.
Jake passed the ball to me, and I went up for a lay-up, making it. Make that four points down for Chance and Anthony.
"Oh! Game point!" Jake says, running around with his arms out like a plane.
I laugh, watching Chance and Tony start chasing after Jake. I stand on the side line, watching my best friends run around. Jake comes behind me, using me as a human shield. Tony came around me, tackling Jake into the grass. I roll my eyes, watching Chance dive into the action, Jake's raspy screaming booming out playfully.
"Hey guys. We should go do something else."
"Like what?" Chance asked me, looking up at me.
"I don't now...."
"We could go talk to some girls." Tony said, making me scrunch up my nose.
"Um, no."
"Why don't you hang out with Sarah and Alex?" Jake asked, looking up at her.
"Because there boring and you guys are more fun." All of them smiled, taking it a different way. I widen my eyes, looking down at my three best friends. "No! Not like that!"
Tony got up, grabbing my wrist and pulling down on to Jake and Chance.
"Dog pile!" Tony says, jumping onto the side he was on.
Chance laughed, smiling at the three of us. "This is the life."
"No. No it's not because I'm squished!" Jake says.
There was a honk, making me look up. My mom rolled down the window, calling me to come home.
"Gotta go. Bye guys."
"Bye Katherine!"

It was the next morning, a Monday, and I wasn't happy. Going along with that, I started that type of month, and I also hated that, and that's when I ask tons of questions like why this? With this thing? Why you now.
I was down stairs, using the bathroom, again. I sigh, switching the tampons with a new one.
"Breakfast is ready!" My mom tells me.
I sigh, pulling up my pants and washing my hands. After that, I walked out of the bathroom, and to the kitchen. I sit down on the table, digging into my breakfast.
"Are you starting it?"
"Yes mom."
"Did yo-"
"Yes mom. I put tampons into my bag."
"Good. By the way, Chance's mom made a appointment for you to babysit Chance's little sister."
"But can't Chance babysit them?"
"Don't ask questions. Just go over to Chance's place."
I sigh, eating another bite and then brushing my teeth.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We were at school, Chance moving this school because he begged his parents to let him. He mostly came here because his three best friends were at this school.
Right now, we were sitting together at the cafeteria room, Chance sitting by my side, and Tony and Jake on the other side. We all laughed to one of Jake's jokes, with Jake smiling at all of us.
Then a few girls walked by, whispering while staring at my best friends then me. I sigh, ignoring the girls like my mom told me too. Until they sat down beside me, smiling at the four of us.
"So, what's so funny boys?" The girl named Tina asked us.
"None of your business."
"Don't be so jealous ten year old."
I look down, taking a bite out of my mashed potatoes.
"Hey!" Jake says. "Don't say that her!"
"Yeah. Back off." Tony says, glaring at Tina.
"Oh, your boy toys protecting you?"
I blink, ignoring what she was saying, knowing if I talked, my stutter would come out. I stabbed my lettuce, taking a quick bite.
"To scared to talk little girl?"
"Please stop..." I say, not looking her in the eye.
"Um, no." Tina says, her posey laughing.
Chance slammed the table, not that loud of slam, just to tell them to back off. "That's enough! Come on guys, we don't need to take this."
After that, I grab my plate and scurried away. To be honest, I don't why Tina started bullying me, saying that I was using Chance, Tony, and Jake as my boy toys, which I wasn't, we were just friends. Best friends.
I walk towards the trash can, throwing away my food and giving it to the lunch lady. "Thank you."
I walk away, going thru the lunch doors, wanting to be alone for awhile. I sigh, whipping my eyes, doing a quick sniffle. I open my locker, grabbing my next text books for class.
"Hey. You okay?"
"Yes Chance. I'm fine." I say, grabbing a pencil.
"No your not." Jake says, placing a hand on my shoulder.
"Look. Even though you guys have my back, care about how I feel after being bullied by freaking Tina."
"But-"
"No. I want to be alone!" I hiss, slamming my locker and walking off.
"Kath!"
I sigh, stopping and turning around. "What?"
"Be careful."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
{Junior year}It was Junior year, while Chance was a senior and Tony graduated. Jake left, making me sad a lot, and he left along with Logan.
Right now, Chance and I were walking down the halls, the both of us talking and laughing. I was also no longer being bullied by that Tina girl because she left.
I was five five, and Chance was six foot know. I sigh, smiling up at Chance. Chance was smiling as well, looking nervous around me then ever but I was to, at times. Because around in freshman year, for me, I started to form a big crush on Chance. And for him, I didn't now if he liked me or not. But that was a different story.
The bell rang, meaning that school was over, leaving Chance to drive us to his place, to help him babysit his sister, again.
After getting our stuff, we walked out the doors.
"See ya later sweetie!" A jock says, walking right by me.
"Gross."
"Agreed." Chance says.
I smile at him, the both of us by his car. We open the doors, and getting in the car. We both buckled up, Chance starting the car.
"Do you have Netflix?"
"Um, yeah.." Chance says, smiling at me. "Why?"
"I wanna show you a tv show."
"Okay then... I will trust you."
I smile, Chance driving out of the parking lot.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
{Sometime when Chance is sick}I knock on the door of Chance's home, holding a bowl of soap, and his favorite movie. The door opens, with Mrs. Sutton at the door.
"Oh, hi Katherine. What are you doing here?"
"I'm here to give Chance some of his favorite food and favorite movie."
She smiled, stepping aside. "He's upstairs."
I smile at her, coming in and going upstairs. I sigh, knocking on the door.
"Come in." Chance says, coughing.
I open the door, going thru the door and seeing Chance laying on his bed. With a box of tissues by his side, along with water on his night stand.
"Kath! Get out of here, or I'm going to get you sick."
"I could care less." I walk around his bed, setting the bowl of soap down on his night stand. "And I brought your favorite movie!"
Chance smiled at me, while I spun around. I walked towards his tv in the room, and put it in. I hum, pressing the play button on his dvr.
I skip back to where he was, sitting down on his bed.
"Kath-"
"Shhh. It's starting." I say, pressing the play button.
I lay down on the bed, while watching the movie, when she never knew the whole time that Chance was looking at her.
