"Blow it out!"
I jump up, the fire alarms going off. I look back, falling off the bed. I groan, grabbing the pillow and putting it over my face. The fire alarm stops after five beeps, leaving my ears ringing in pain. I stand up, slipping off my shorts, t-shirt, and my undergarments.
I grab a blanket, wrapping it around my body. I walk towards my bag, grabbing new clothes and changing into them. I was know wearing a light tan t-shirt, blue jean shorts, and brown flip flops. I walk into the bathroom, combing out my hair and then straightening my air, watching the steam float out over my head. I sigh, setting down the straightener and grabbing my makeup case, quickly doing it while trying to do it nicely at the same time.
I walk out of the bathroom, heading toward the door until a sudden pain hit my chest. I slightly gasp, touching my upper chest. I head towards my bag, quickly opening it and grabbing a Advil. I run into the bathroom again, turning the handle and putting my head in the sink. I take some water and put the Advil in. I turn off the handle, standing there in the bathroom, waiting until the pain passed. But unlike last time, it never left, making me feel heavy like Erika told me.
Come on Kath, I thought, tell Chance and your best friends. They would help. Would they?
I groan, a strong pain popped in my chest again.
Yep. Going to tell Chance.
I walk out of the bathroom, leaving Tessa and I's shared room. I take a turn into Chance's, Tony's, and the Martinez twins room. I see Chance sitting down on the couch in there room, Tony not in sight.
"Chance?"
"Yeah, Babe?" Chance says, slowly looking up from tying his shoe.
"I need to tell you something." I swallow, trying to at least make the pain less painful.
"What is it? Is everything okay?" He asks, watching me sit down beside.
"Yes," he sighs, "but not really."
"Your scaring me, Kath." He starts. "Is something or not?"
"You know how Erika was feeling cold in her chest?"
"Yeah..." he says, sitting sideways to me.
"Well, lately I've been feeling pain and cold in my chest lately and I don't know what to do."
"Oh my god..." Chance says, running his hands thru his hair. "Kath why didn't you tell me last night?"
"I... I didn't know."
"Did you ever play the board by yourself?"
"No."
"Then why-"
"I don't know, Chance! I don't know... okay... maybe the ghost just thought we were easy targets?" I suggested, raising a eye brow.
"You know we have to tell Jake right?"
"I know but it's Tony's birthday and I don't want to ruin it..."
"Listen. If Tony is your best friend... He would understand." Chance says, placing a hand on my cheek.
I smile, placing my hand on his. "I love you, Chance."
"I love you too, Kath." He says, kissing me on the forehead.

It was 9 hours later and Jake was home, telling the people that brought the chickens to bring them in. I smile, telling Tessa to go put on the costume. I laugh, setting down the cake that I made for Tony.
"I hope he likes it." I tell Chance.
"Don't worry, sweetie. He will." Chance says, giving me a peck on the lips.
"Hey Chance." He looks at me. "When are we going to tell Jake?"
"How about after it's just us three?"
"Sounds good." I smile, kissing him on the cheek.
We smile at each other before going back to helping Jake, Erika, Nick, Kade, and Erika. I grab a chicken, petting it.
"Your such a demon. Yes you are. Yes you are." I say, shaking my head along with the words. (What? I have chickens... there actual devils.)
"Kath. Kath." Jake says.
I turn around, looking at Jake. "Yeah?"
"Go upstairs with me."
"Okay."
We both go upstairs, turning the corner and going into Jake's room. I look at the bed, seeing Eric scrapping the ceiling again. I chuckle, turning back to Jake.
"Okay. Blind fold him."
Chance wraps the colorful cloth around Tony's eyes, Jake recording what Chance was doing.
After he was done, Chance grabbed him on both arms walking him out. I lift my arms up, putting them over Tony's ears once we were getting close to the chickens.
"I don't know! I don't know about this!" Tony says, smiling wildly.
I smile, while Jake and us started singing happy birthday to him. Jake and Tessa and started opening the cage, the chickens looking around. Tony finally took off his blind fold, looking at all the chickens his smile growing, weirdly.
"What?!" Tony says, while Tessa is still doing 'hey!'
I glare at her, my anger growing. Shut up Tessa, I thought. I look around, slightly confused that I thought that. What? Was it the demon or? I give up!
"I got you twenty-one chickens bro!" Jake says, watching Anthony look at the chickens.
"That's lit!" Tony says, walking towards the chickens and start chasing them.
I laugh, watching Jake chase after them. Jake walks over to Tessa, which was in a chicken costume.
"There's also a Tessa Chicken for you." Tessa walks forward, hugging Tony. "Do you want to chase one?"
"Chickens are actually scary. They scare me. There demons."
"See. I'm not the only one." I say, bending down to the chickens. "See, your demons no mat-"
A chicken bawks at me, flapping it's wings. I jumps back, screaming at it in Spanish.
I laugh, watching Jake chase after them. I smile, stepping back to let Tony meet the cake.
"And I made you cake!" I explain, smiling at Tony.
Tony smiles, walking over. Jake comes over, filming the cake closely.
"Let's eat it!"
While Erika and I where cutting the cake, Jake takes a big piece of cake with his hand. Erika gasps, while I glare at him, clutching the knife in my hand. (Btw this is the demon kinda taking over.)
"Eat me." Jake says, acting like the cake said it.
Chance takes a bite, then Tony does. I tap the knife on the counter, my anger slowly taking over. I hear a jump, a few sneaker squeaks coming quickly over to my side.
"Kath. Put the knife down..." Chance says, calmly to me.
I look Jake, Jake slowly filming me and the knife. "Chance. Kath. Is this a prank?"
"Huh, um." Chance starts. "About that... we were meaning to tell you this but a demon could possibly be in Kath right know like it is with Erika."
"Yo, this is sketch." Tessa says, walking around with her little duck tail flipping to the right and left. After Chance calms me down, the real me, no damn spirit in me.
Chance, Jake, and Tony pretended to cook a chicken, while Erika was freaking out.
"Some Ohio fried chicken, bitch!" Chance tells, causing Jake to fall down to his knees and laugh, while hitting the table.
I laugh, watching them go somewhere else. I hum, skipping up the stairs.
"Yo! Demon! Stay down here!" Jake voice says.
I grab a wood block, throwing it at Jake. Jake dodges it, his mouth in a 'oh' shape. I flip him off, before walking down the stairs and sitting beside Erika.
