Chapter. 5

Aphmau's POV

I woke up and realized that I had small drops of tears, but worse of all I was drooling!

I got up from where I was sleeping and looking towards the door where Katelyn was standing. She was just sitting there staring at the door. She opened the entrance and stepped outside, I followed her and we stood at the doorway.

The snow had stopped. However the snow was still high and thick, we would have trouble walking 10 feet. I sighed and went back in. I took a drink from the spring which was freezing cold and I waited next to Katelyn.

We just stood in silence, we stared at the snow and I hoped that it would melt. I didn't know what Katelyn was thinking about the snow.

"You know Aphmau..." said Katelyn

"What?" I asked

"Can we be in your pack?"

"I don't think that's up to me"

"Well, do you think me and KC would be good additions to your pack?"

"To be honest, I've only been in that pack for a few months, but you can ask Aaron about that. He's the Alpha's son."

"Oh, well that's good, I don't have to worry about the Alpha's family hating me... or KC for that matter"

"Oh, why is that?"

"This is the 3rd time KC has gotten hated by the alpha's family. This is my first, things has gotten so bad that Kawaii~Chan changed her name. She told me about that, but she never told me her real name."

"Really?"

"Yeah, it's kind of gotten to that point..."

I hung my head down and whimpered.

Katelyn yawned and laid down.

30 minutes later

I stared at the snow that was slowly melting every second when I heard a yawn from behind me.

I turned around and saw Aaron stretching, he looked up and saw me.

"Hey Aaron!"

"Hey Aphmau!"

"When do you think we'll be able to get back to the pack?"

"I don't know, I could probably walk through it but I don't think you and KC can get through easily"

"Of course I can get through it!" I stuck my tongue out and jumped into the slushy freezing snow.

I sank very quickly into the snow and tried desperately to get back up. I saw Aaron walk in front of me with less struggle than me.

"You should've listened to me..."

"You ain't my dad! So of course I didn't listen to you!"

He laughed then helped me out.

I knocked snow into his face then tried to escape but he grabbed me and playfully knocked me into a tree. I dived headfirst into the snow and crawled into the snow, I snuck behind a confused Aaron and pounced on him.

2 hours later

Me and Aaron were playing for what seemed like minutes. The snow melted very much that I could walk through.

"Uhh I'm sooo hungry!" Groaned KC

"Yeah, how about we hunt down an animal and eat it before we start heading back to your pack" suggested Katelyn

"Yeah, I'm very hungry!" I exclaimed

"Alright, I know where a bunch of rabbits live. Follow me!" Said Aaron
