Aaron?
"Aph! What are you doing?! We have to go!!" Yelled Aaron
"No! I want to join my mom!" I yell back then start running back until Aaron blocked me.
"AARON GET OUT OF MY WAY!" I try to shove him but he pushes me back.
"No, I'm not letting a friend die because of me again..."
"PLEASE AARON! LET ME GO TO HER!!" I look over his shoulder to see my mom almost burnt to a crisp.
I stared at her with wide eyes filled with tears, paralyzed. It was enough time for Aaron to pick me up and run out of our home.
---------------2 hours later--------------
Aaron's POV
Aphmau is still crying. We are a good distance from our home but I could still see the smoke from above the trees. Still black, meaning it's still burning.
I couldn't find my parents or Melissa.
As much as I hate them, they are still my family. I saw Katelyn run into the fire, guessing that maybe she was trying to save someone, but I couldn't tell.
I'm too tense to rest, every small sound makes me jump up. While Aphmau doesn't care what happens to her. She wants to be dead.
I can't let that happen though. I'm waiting for nightfall to start moving, but I still need rest.
I lay my head down and start closing my eyes. Hoping for a nice sleep. I'm half-awake though. Aphmau might run away if I'm asleep, although I doubt that. After all, she didn't try to fight back when I started running for 2 hours.
Before I knew it, I fell asleep, but I was in a different place. A dream? It would sure be nice to have a nice dream for a bit.
Except..... it was different....
I'm a human......
I stared at my reflection. I was much taller, my black eyes stayed and I had black hair. I had dark tan skin. What is this?
Most of these scenes were with a human girl with Raven hair and hazel eyes. She reminded me of Aphmau for some reason. Not a lot of things happened. It was just human me. I could feel a spark of rage evolving into flames that just kept on burning but Aphmau would always extinguish the fire of rage. It was strange. I could just watch it happen.
The dream was too short for my liking. I woke up to Aphmau whimpering and shaking next to me. She was staring at something in the distance. I looked to where she was staring and saw 3 big wolves walking around like they were searching for something.
I got up and nudged Aphmau so we could get going. She didn't hesitate to stand and follow me. Whatever it was, she had something to do with the wolves that attacked.
The more I thought about it, the more I was coming to the conclusion that Aphmau was involved.
I didn't want to leave her behind if I had to. Hopefully I'm able to protect her and find a safe place for the both of us.
Katelyn's POV
After the fire started, I searched for Kawaii~Chan. I was so lucky to find her unscathed. It's just me and Kawaii~Chan. No one else. I don't know where Aphmau went, or Garroth or Laurance. I don't know where Aaron went. I don't have evidence that they are dead, but I don't have evidence that they are alive either.
Kawaii~Chan and I are walking in silence.
We're back to being vulnerable to death again.
We just found ourselves a home and now it's gone. I didn't even have a chance to see my dad, and now he's probably dead too.
I sighed when Kawaii~Chan suddenly jolted her head to my left.
"Kawaii~Chan? What's wrong?" I asked.
"We're not alone..." She answered.
I stare with her as we see a thin wolf with Dark brown fur and Dark brown eyes.
"Please, I don't mean to cause trouble. I was just walking by and saw you two." She said.
"Were you part of the Phoenix pack?" I question.
"No, I wasn't part of that pack. I was part of the Tu'la pack." She answers and starts positioning herself to run.
"The Tu'la pack?!"
"Yeah, but I left a long time ago." Her muscles were relaxing after being tense.
Kawaii~Chan was still tense and looked as though she were about to attack.
"If you don't mind me asking" Kawaii~Chan growled "What's your name?"
The wolf stares and manages to form a small smile.
"My name is Teony."
