Chapter 2 - Who Are You Two?

(Lucy's POV)

After meeting Levy at the pond, I heard the sound of branches and leaves crushing. Instinctively, I pulled out Loke's key, while Levy brought out her Dragon Pen.

"Calm down children. We are here to help, not harm," one of the voices, a sofisticated and gloomy voice boomed defensively.

"Yeah! We just want to help you train! We are your new friends," a cheerful and childish voice yelled, not worrying one bit.

I opened my mouth to ask a question, but Levy beat me to it, "How do we know to trust you if we can't see you?"

"Yeah. Why don't you come out into the light, so we can see you, and trust you," I cringed at how monotone my voice is. Probably from the heartbreak.

The cheerful one stepped out first.

"Heya! My name is Lauren Apollo. I have the powers of the sun and the day, and I'm here to train Levy McGarden my magic!"

The gloomy one stepped out afterwards.

"Hello. My name is Paige Artemis. I have the powers of the moon and night, and I am here to train Lucy Heartfilia. I am sorry for the over cheerfulness and childishness of my partner."

"Wait a second. Isn't Apollo the Greek sun god, and Artemis the Greek moon goddess, " Levy asked.

"And why are you here to train us? I know I have no connection to the night, except my power over the constellations," I asked the Lauren and Paige.

Paige answered my question, seeing as Lauren didn't know. "We are here to train the two of you because you have been chosen by the sun god and moon goddess, our patrons, to be the protector and champion of their time of day."

"Well! Now that that is settled, let's start training. I'm guessing that you, the bluey, are Levy McGarden! And you're Lucy Heartfilia!"

"Yup! Let's go," Levy responded, excited for the new powers she was going to be using.
