He forgot about me... The thought kept repeating inside her head as she walk through the corridor. She sighed and shook her head when she reached her destination. Laughter can be heard from the inside. They sound like they're having fun...

Everyone inside were sitting down, holding a pice of paper each. They were discussing the song like they said they would.

"Alright, that was pretty fast." Yamato said as he put down the paper and laid back on the chair.

"It usually takes us a lot longer to make a decision..." Shion said, agreeing with Yamato.

"This just means that HEAVENS is coming together as a better team!" Eiichi shouted as he stood up.

Nagi cast him a look. "Tone it down, you're still creepy when your happy."

Eiichi only smirked wider at that. "Well I'm true, aren't I?"

"Then why don't we talk about something else?" Van asked.

"You've got a topic in mind?" Eiji asked.

"Let's talk about the manager." Van said smiling.

Hikari's eyes widen. She knew she shouldn't be there, but she couldn't resist. She sat behind the door quietly and waited for them to start.

"Alright, no one's saying no, so who wants to start?" Van offered.

"She's too happy... Almost naive." Shion spoke up. "But... She seems to be good at heart. I don't know her talents... But there's something radiant within her..."

"She's happy sure, but I don't know if I'd say she's naive." Yamato cuts in. "She's a unique one though. How the heck did she get into the industry wih that kind of handicap?"

"Her abilities are indeed unique." Kira said, nodding. "She was trained well when she was younger."

"How do you know that?" Eiji asked.

"She's my classmate." Kira replied, still with his straight face.

"Wha- classmate?!!" Nagi jumped. "So you're the boyfriend she told us about?!!" Everyone else turned their heads at once, but Kira merely shook his head.

"No. She was dating our senior." He replied. "I'm not surprised she doesn't remember me though. We hardly spoke back then."

"Then how come you remember?" Van asked.

"Everyone in our class admires her for her determination." He explained. "She has been... pushed down for years and yet she could still keep up that smile. She was even the valedictorian in our class."

"How the heck did she manage to do exams?" Yamato asked.

"She had to do everything verbally and practically. Usually it would take a toll on a person to go through that much a day, but she could handle it without a problem." Kira explained. He let out a smile. "She's quite a strong girl."

"Wow that's amazing." Eiji said.

"Yeah... AND that's the most you've ever spoken to us Kira!" Nagi said cheekily.

Kira shrugged and went quiet again, making Nagi sweatdrop. Eiji chuckled at the two, but then focus on Nagi only. "So Nagi... How did you know Sora-san had a boyfriend?"

Nagi turned his attention to him. "Eh? She told us last night."

"Us?" Eiichi perked up.

"You saw us come out of her room last night, Eiichi." Van stated with a smile. "We just had a chat to get to know her better."

"And how did that go?" He asked.

"Her story is sad for such a happy girl." Van said. "A small mistake could lead to quite the tragic accident."

"So I see." Eiichi said picking up the papers. He stacked them on the table and was about to take the tablet, but then the speaker came on.

"EIICHI, GET TO MY OFFICE THIS INSTANT. AND MAKE SURE THAT GIRL IS WITH YOU." Raging's familiar voice rang out through every corner of the building.

Hikari stood up quickly, knowing the door would open any second. When it did, Eiichi came out with a rather annoyed look. He look to the side and found Hikari standing there.

He raised an eyebrow. "Did you came to check up on us?"

Hikari tensed slightly. "Yeah. I just got here." She lied. "So... Your boss wants to see me, I take it."

He groaned. "It's times like these that are a pain. Just stay behind me and you'll be fine."

She knew all too well what that meant, but could only nod anyway. "Okay."

When they reached the office, Eiichi opened the door and led the way in. Hikari obediently followed and closed the door.

"Sorano Hikari..." This man gave off a very different feel then Shining. "I've heard rumors about you from behind the scenes... And you are currently STARISH and Quartet Night's manager, correct?" Without giving her a chance to answer, he continued. "Prove to me that you are good enough for HEAVENS, and I'll let you be HEAVENS' manager as well." He turned to Eiichi. "EIICHI."

The younger brunette silently swallowed. "Yes?"

"You're responsible for whatever happens." The man said, pointing a finger at his son. "Now, you're both, DISMISSED."

The two walked out and Hikari sighed in relief. "Man... He's still scary." She muttered. "HEAVENS must've had it hard from him..."

"Yeah. But we don't let it get to us." Eiichi said with a shrug.

She tensed. "Ah... Erm... Sorry..."

"Hm? What for?"

"... Bad mouthing your dad..."

"It's fine. We get it a lot." He replied. "It's thanks to angels like you that HEAVENS still keep hoping. That and Nanami's song."

"Ah... I heard about that. And I really like Fumetsu no Inferno. It's awesome!" Hikari said smiling.

"Well that's nice to hear." Eiichi said. "You know, even if the old man is like that, neither Eiji or I could bring ourselves to hate him. I can't see him as my dad anymore... But I still don't completely hate him."

Hikari nodded. "Well, I hope for the best for the three of you."

"Hmm, I'd worry more about you. After all, it's you he's testing this time." Eiichi said with a smirk. "Think you can handle it?"

"As long as the rest of HEAVENS support me, I'm sure I'll be fine." She said smiling.

He pat her head and began to lead the way along the halls. "Well if you want you can come with me for the interview."

"Oh? When?" She asked, feeling slightly excited.

"Now." He grabbed her hand and pulled her nearly all the way to the elevator, before stopping and turning back on his heels. "You need something else to wear."
