Hikari blinked. "Oh... Yeah I didn't think I'll be going anywhere today so I put on some plain ones."
"Did you bring any work clothes?" He asked as he dragged her to her room.
"Yeap. It should be on the right side of the closet." She replied. "Can you help me pick them out? I uh... Can't see which one would be appropriate for this occassion."
"Mhm." He said as he opened the door to her room. "You never lock, do you?"
"I don't see the point. This place has alot of security." She said.
"And a lot of male staff." He retorted. "You wouldn't want anyone barging into your room at night, would you?"
"Hmm... Guess not. I'll try to remember that next time." She replied, nodding.
"Sure you will." He teased, opening the closet and picking out a few clothes.
In the end, she wore a light blue striped turtle neck and a white skirt that reaches just below her knees. She quickly did a half braid on the left side of her head and got her bag ready. She walked out of the bathroom and Eiichi was sitting patiently on her bed.
"Are all your clothes blue and white?" He asked.
"I guess so? A lot of my friends said those colours suit me best. And I'm not sure how, but they're my favorite colors." She explained. "Blue is the best background for fluffy white clouds, or so they say..."
Eiichi smiled as he stood up. "Yeah, this isn't the first time you told me."
Hikari tensed and looked up at him. "You... remember me?"
He chuckled. "Of course." He held out a hand and smiled gently as he held her.
She sighed and hugged back. "... I hate you..."
He chuckled. "Oh, do you now?"
Her face was burried into his chest. "...No..."
"As I thought." He lifted her up and sat her on the bed, still not letting go.
Without wasting a moment, he pinned her down. He kept his smile as his face got closer to hers, stopping only when their lips were merely an inch appart. She could feel his breath and her cheeks heated up as she swallowed. This reaction made him grunt and he gave her a quick peck on her lips before letting her go.
She sat up, face still with a tint of red. "... Will you ever stop teasing me?"
"You like it though." He said, smirking.
"That's... Yeah..." She replied, growing redder. "So... Can you tell me why you acted like you don't remember me?"
"Let's get in the car first." He said, pulling her up. "It'll be about an hour drive to get to the studio from here. There'll be plenty of time for an explaination."
"Alright." After putting on her coat, she followed him out the door and soon, they hit the road.
After a bit of silence, Eiichi was first to open his mouth. "So about the whole act... Long story short, the old man remembers you and he doesn't want me to have anything to do with you. I gotta act like I forgot around everyone if I didn't want you... escorted." He leaned back on his seat. "The only one that knows is Kira. As you heard earlier, he's your classmate."
Hikari tensed up. "You knew I was there?"
"You were standing on the left side of the door. If you were to come from the dining room to the lounge room you would've been on the right." He replied.
"O-oh... Okay." She nodded. "And I think I remember Kira now... He's... Always been that quiet, huh? I mean, I remember he was at the top of our singing class... Those two sentences sound like they contradict each other, don't they?"
