"And Hyuga Yamato wins!" The MC yelled into the microphone.
"Yamato! You're awesome!"
"That was amazing!"
"Great job, Yamato!"
Cheers came from every direction as Yamato stepped down from the ring and right at the bottom of the steps, the press started surrounding him. After sarcastically answering all of their questions, he hurried to the lounge room, where no one besides the competators and their guests were allowed to be. He skidded to a stop before making the turn into the room. There, he found just who he was hoping for.
Hikari heard his footsteps and looked up at where she assumed he was supposed to be. "Yamato?"
"Yeah. It's me." He ruffled her hair with a smirk. "How did I do, manager?"
"The MC did great when he was commentating the fight. Though it sounded more like you were fighting and the other guy was running." She said with a chuckle.
"Now you believe me when I say there's no one here that can challenge me?" Ruffling her hair turned into a full blown noogie.
"I believe you! I believe you!" She said, laughing louder.
"How nice to see you both here." Both of them stopped.
Yamato immediately turned away and scoffed at the orange haired man. "What do you want?"
Hikari blinked. "Hyuga-san?"
Ryuya nodded. "Yes. It's me. How have you been doing, Sorano?"
She beamed. "Oh! I'm completely fine!"
"Good to know." The older male smiled. He then turned to his brother. "And you?"
He grunted, but answered none the less. "I'm. Fine."
Ryuya doesn't seem convinced, but he smiled. "You should still come home every once in a while. Touma and Makoto has been missing you a lot."
Yamato growled below his breath. "They'll just have to keep missing me then."
Hikari's head turned left and right at their exchange. She was pretty sure they were glaring at each other, but what could she do to solve this issue?
Ryuya was first to notice her unease and so he casually fixed his tie and bid them both goodbye. Yamato growled and pulled her to her feet. "Let's just go." And he proceeded to drag her into the car that's waiting for them.
Hikari sat by the window quietly. She didn't want to bother the male. He sounded irritated enough. She probably shouldn't ask anything on the matter either-
"Well? Aren't you gonna ask me about the whole sh*t?" He said impatiently.
Hikari turned towards him and blinked. "I thought it'd be rude if I asked, so I stayed quiet..."
"Well yeah, I'd be hella pissed if you asked, but the silence is even more annoying so just get it over with." He said with an irritated sigh. "The driver can't hear us when the soundproof glass is up, so go ahead. Whatever you want to know."
I know Eiichi told me about it before, but is everything soundproof in this company? She swallowed the sarcasm down before it can get out. "Well... Firstly, who are Touma and Makoto?"
"Brothers."
"So it's four in total?"
"Leave me out of it."
"Three then. Okay, well, if you don't mind me asking this, what happened between you and Hyuga-san?"
"... He's always at the top. From the start until now, he's always at the top. It's irritating just thinking about it."
