CHAPTER TWENTY THREE,
emilios pov

i do not know what i am supposed to do without her. i ran all the way to this mountain and take a walk to clear my mind.

what if i lose her? will i ever love again?

my thoughts are drowning me. i was already missing tegan and now i can't even get her back. she can not die.

she belongs with me. she deserves to be happy.

i felt a buzz in my pocket and saw a text from ivan. it said 'she's awake'

i automatically snapped out of my thoughts and ran back to the hospital. i need to talk to her again.

i finally got back to the hospital and i was out of breathe. i never stopped until i hit her room. everyone was standing outside of the door waiting for me.

i hesitated to walk in because what if she doesn't want to see me?

"just go in already." tessa said.

i walked through the door to her room and was laying on her side towards the window. she heard my walk in so she looks back to see who it is. she saw it was me and looked back at the window.

"do you hate me?" i asked.

"no." she responds.

"then why won't you talk to me?" i asked.

"i do not want to ruin you." she cries.

"how would you even ruin me?" i asked.

"because i am me, i am tegan foley." she said.

"i love you tegan may foley." i said.

"don't." she cried.

i stood there speechless, i had no idea what to say back to that.

"just go." she said.

i left the room not looking at anyone. they all stared at me as i walked through them. jake placed his hand on my shoulder but i kept walking.

"bro!" i hear jake yell from a distance.

i ignored all of my friends and continued on leaving.

fuck fuck fuck.

i do not know what i am supposed to do now.

i kept walking and i made it to a little store on the corner. i walk inside and there was literally no one in there.

"hey sir, can i help you?" an older woman asked.

"no, i am just looking around." i reply.

"you're hot." she said.

"thanks but i have a girlfriend." i added.

"damn." she looked disappointed.

"well actually i do have a girlfriend but it is really complicated at the moment." i said.

"well i can help you out." the girl said.

should i do it? what about tegan?

i put my hand on the back of her neck and pulled in her for a kiss.

i pull away and see fans taking pictures of me and this girl together.

shit. tegan's going to hate me more.

i started to walk away but was held back by the girl. she pulled me towards her car.

"stop!" i yelled.

"i want to help you." she said.

"i can't." i said.

"yes you can."

"no , i still love her." i looked down at my feet.

"don't." she replies.

"i need to go." i said before running away.
