Do you feel broken right now because the guy or girl you truly love (or like) broke up with you because of the 'it's not you, it's me' thing or yet 'I need space' break up line..
Well, that was kind of really very painful, yes! And complicated, especially if he/she said it the 3rd time around. Rigth!
Or worst, it really hurts when in the first place you weren't even officially together.
Or maybe...
He doesn't love you like you do.
Or you knew he's trouble when he walked in. (Shame on you 🎶🎶)
Or she can no longer hold you in the street.
And many more excuses to mention.
It was really heart tearing, diet breaking, zombie feeling and what's wrong with me moments in your life.
(Especially for girls)
But
The Bible said.. God is near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34: 18). God heals them and bind up their wounds. (Psalm 147: 3)
Isn't it reassuring that the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort will be near to us when our heart is broken and shattered?
(2 Cor. 1: 3)
This comfort covers every kind of heartbreaks. From break-ups to death of loveones. Do not let your heart be consumed by so much pain or lies. God warned us about our heart.
MATTHEW 15: 9
For out of the heart comes evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immortality, theft, false testimony, slander.
But He also said to not let our hearts be troubled. Trust in Him. Take it to your heart that God had overcome the world and through Him, you also can. He gave you peace to not be troubled and afraid. (John 14: 1, 27) and to do not worry about our tomorrows. (Matt. 6: 34)
...
Life is really complicated but you insist on making it too complicated just like how life is hard but you make it harder.
if you keep on committing yourself in a wrong, unhealthy, untimed, no label, relationship --- that you keep on doing after one then another just to satisfy your human nature, You're going to experience life the hardest way when you can actually learn them only from the expert - God.
or better yet wait for your season.
