I walk in the hospital feeling happy that Xavie has finally woken up. Its been months since I last seen his smile. I skip down the halls with a huge smile on my face.
I can't wait to see him.
I walk in his room to see him sitting up on the bed.
"Xavie!" I say rushing inside giving him a bone crushing hug. "Gosh, I've missed you."
A laugh left his lips as he returned the hug. "I missed you too Tee. How have you been?" He asks.
I sit on the seat beside his bed and hold his hand. "I'm great now that you're awake. But other than that I've been better. I think I finally found happiness again Xavie."
"Tee I'm going to ask you to do something for me okay?" He says, his expression changing into a frown.
"Yeah, anything."
He sighs. "I want you to hold unto that happiness okay? Cling unto it for dare life and never let it go."
"Why are you saying that? Are you leaving me Xavie?" Panic is slowly rising from the deepest part of my stomach as I shake my head repeatedly. "You cant leave me. You just got here. Please don't leave me."
"I'll never leave you Tee. I'll always be her-" before he can finish his sentence, he falls back on the bed, his eyes rolling to the back of his head.
